The Grey - Savannah

Forum Shah We came here for an upscale anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect and they were very thoughtful and wrote a happy anniversary note. The staff were helpful and answered many of our questions. They also had many vegetarian options to pick from. It’s a coursed $85 meal and I felt given the amount of food we got, it was very reasonable. The Savannah Red Rice was so good. It was definitely a great take on local food and was very flavorful and filling. I loved all the different vegetables in it - they were perfectly cooked and enhanced the sauce base. For the main, they had an okra and beans dish with bread. It also came with some salad and the salad was really fresh and had a very crispy dressing. The whole entree with its different parts went together so well. The beans were not too soft or hard but the perfect in-between. Insta: @TheShahLALand

Lazy Betty - Atlanta

Rating: 4.8 /5
Jimmy Smith We went to Lazy Betty when visiting our best friends in Atlanta as it was a 1 star Michelin restaurant and my wife had not tried a tasting menu. The restaurant is very cute. The inside is inviting and eclectic. The food was delicious. Specifically the dessert was among the best Ive had. I have minimal complaints. It was an excellent experience. If Im being picky, the initial start of the dinner took a lot longer than we expected. We showed up hungry expecting a long tasting menu with small, albeit many, portions. And we got that. The only hesitation in a full 5 starts was how long it took for the dishes to start coming out. Some of this was likely because a large group of 8-10 were seated around the same time as we were and seemed to know the waitstaff. Aside from that slight delay, it was an excellent experience. Was it worth the nearly $300/person minus drinks? If youve been to similar 2-3 star restaurants, maybe. Maybe not. But it was a great night for us.

Ambrielle August Everything we had was absolutely incredible. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the truffle butter mashed potatoes was my favorite item. The green beans were also very delicious. I really enjoyed the service from the assistant waiters and the ambience. The price is on the higher end and we spent about $270 for one crab & lobster appetizer, one Cesar salad, two steak entrées, two sides, and a dessert.

James Smithson We love the vibe here. Elegant, understated, professional with everyone dressed well and well mannered. Service is impeccable. Always attentive without being obvious. We unfortunately had a small time crunch due to a Fox show but we communicated and they accommodated it perfectly. The food is definitely Michelin quality. We’ve eaten at Michelin restaurants in Italy and they hold up. Layers of flavors and innovation. Just the right quantity as well. Well done. We will be back.

Epic Restaurant - Columbus

Rating: 4.7 /5
On The Go With Nic Epic truly lives up to its name. I booked the Chef’s Table experience and it was unforgettable from start to finish. Every course felt like its own masterpiece — beautifully plated, creative, and full of flavor. You can tell the chef puts real passion and intention into every dish. The service was top-tier too. The team made the whole night feel special, personal, and perfectly paced. I loved hearing the stories behind each course and watching the dishes come together right in front of us. If you’re looking for a luxury dining experience in Columbus that’s intimate, elevated, and absolutely worth it — Epic’s Chef’s Table is the one. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
