Hamlin Hills Barbecue - (Near Forsyth, GA)

John Wolfram Absolutely superb chicken salad sandwich. I had one of their hot macadamia nut cookies just out of the oven. That cookie alone was with stopping in. This is a quaint little eatery and well worth the money spent for a great lunch.

Matt “GenXBiker” The atmosphere is the best part of patronizing this store. My friend gave the burger great kudos for the double cheese burger. The meat was cooked thoroughly but it was still moist. They force mediocre fries on all their patrons. They have extra salt to compliment the fries. The garlic toast was great and the salad tasted fresh with well seasoned chicken. That was the good points other than a very clean atmosphere with good music and TVs showing sports and movies. The fried tenders were very tender and obviously not frozen for too long but the fry grease was either old or they left it frying for too long. I hate burned taste. The sauces were helpful at covering the flavor. The MacnCheese is so bad it made us laugh multiple times. Apparently pasta and cheese is at a premium price because they serve the side in a cup made for small amounts of dipping sauce. The macaroni was so overcooked its amazing the pasta molecules remain attached. It was more of a snobbery can of compressed cheese flavored goo. The people are nice when checking out and quick service but still not impressive enough to make up for medium prices.

Nate Noler Fun little restaurant! Small, friendly, simple menu and great food! Its like a favorite movie or book, its just good every time. Ive had breakfast and lunch here and its been great both times. My pictures are from my last visit for breakfast. I had a steak and cheese biscuit and hash browns. Everything was cooked to order (its not a fast food place, be patient and enjoy). Hot, savory comfort food, done very well. Tasty stuff! If youre in the area, stop in for a bite! Youll leave a satisfied foodie, I promise.

Beth Umberhandt Some friends, my son and I went for the first time today. The atmosphere was great. Great lighting. Clean bathrooms. We tried one of the special sushi and also a spicy tuna roll. We enjoyed the habachi fillet and shrimp, fillet with chicken and the chicken. The warm chick broth soup was delicious. I was not a big fan of the ginger dressing but my friends enjoyed the ranch on their salad. My son was not a fan of the sauteed noodles but he really enjoyed the veggies and shrimp that was on top. He enjoyed eating off my plate. Our waitress was very helpful with navigating the menu, telling us about the specials, and some of the popular picks. I was surprised at the price for how much food comes on the plate. We took 2 plates of left overs home.

mark yaun My wife and I wanted to take a short drive somewhere to eat lunch I came across this fairly new Italian restaurant on Google maps located in Wrens Georgia. Housed in a building that was previously a barbecue place and then a fish place both of which we ate at and now an Italian restaurant this latest incarnation is I think the best. Very well decorated that has a nice feel to it.I had an appetizer of three fairly large house made Italian meatballs in marinara sauce fresh out of the oven served in a ceramic bowl plus toasted garlic Italian bread and a large side salad that was put together with a good combination of greens and came with a house made ranch dressing that was very thick creamy and tasted very good. My wife ordered chicken alfredo it came with thick sliced Italian garlic bread She also had a small side salad made with the same greens is my salad. The food came out quickly the server was friendly but not overly friendly. She came by just enough times to feel like you were noticed but not hovering.This is a great new place and its a real benefit to the city of Wrens, there are not too many sit-down restaurants of quality in that town.
