Laurie Towler WOW! What GREAT food & wonderful, friendly staff! We live about 35 minutes away in SC and some friends took us to Nets for dinner. Its a large, open, casual restaurant and was the best food & most enjoyable meal weve had in a very long time. Staff was super friendly and efficient and was able to answer all the questions we had about the menu.
The portions were large and all of the food was delicious. I had the platter with 3 seafood items and chose catfish strips, fried pee wee shrimp and deviled crab. It came with a side(I got a baked potato), coleslaw, and the soup & hush puppy bar (they also had grits). Normally I dont care for hush puppies, but these were flavorful and not overcooked like most of them are.
I havent been impressed with a restaurant in a very long time, but I absolutely loved this place and the staff, and the bonus is they have a lake out back where you can feed catfish & turtles. Your first bag of feed pellets is free, then you can buy more for 50 cents, I enjoyed seeing and feeding the turtles and catfish as much as I enjoyed the meal! LOL!
It was WELL worth the drive and I cant wait to go back!
