What Clients Are Saying Harolds Honky Tonk Bar & Grill (GG)
5 /5 Cristian Mejia: I loved It! That was my first time there tonight, and the people there were great and friendly. It’s a good vibe. They had a tribute to Journey and I gotta say It was awesome!
5 /5 Tami Isaacs: Great little bar with great service. Awesome food at great prices with daily specials & entertainment. We are just in town for the week, but it was a lot of fun & Im sure we will make it back before the week is through.
1 /5 Kameron Nicely: The only bar open late in downtown Gainesville. Stepped outside to find a friend and wouldnt allow me back inside. Apparently theres no re-entry after 1 and they dont announce it. Many people stuck outside because of a lack of communication from staff. $10 cover and no liquor. Enter at your own risk.
2 /5 Kimberly Dale: I had really high hopes. Love the idea of a country bar that has line dancing. Went last night for the line dancing and celebrate my sisters birthday. Got there early so we could eat first. We kept being sent back and forth to tables to be seated. Took forever for someone to come take our drink order. Do NOT recommend any mixed drinks. Apparently they have “Alternatives” as their liquor has a licensing issue. It’s awful! Ordered a margarita and it tasted like mud water. I’ve never had mud water but I assume that is what it would taste like. Asked a different bartender to make them again and it wasn’t until then they we were informed of the “alternative” liquor. This should be told up front when someone orders a mixed drink or advertised on their site and charging people for that awful liquor. Or better yet not serve any liquor until you can get the real stuff. It was not worth the $19 we were charged for both drinks. The bartender was really nice though with trying to explain everything. Which is the only reason I am giving it a 2. We ordered food and it took over an hour to get it. We wound up leaving after we ate and went somewhere else. So disappointed. Hopefully it improves very quickly.
5 /5 Sylina Libasci: Big Daddy’s is open. They are working with Google to resolve this issue saying that the business is temporarily closed. Check out the social media and website for updates.
Carlos Williams Not a bad place to get fuel
When I was there some of the truck pumps either were not working or malfunctioning. Was only able to fill one tank. Parking can be tight just be careful when trying to park.
Nate Noler This place is every bit as good as all the reviews say! Its a hole in the wall restaurant that is the gateway to pure taco bliss!! Its one of those eateries that will end up on a travel food show and become an instant icon. I stopped in for lunch and had three tacos (chicken, steak and chorizo). They were made fresh to order and tasted as great as they looked. I wish I lived closer to La Casita, it would be a once a week stop for me. Its a very, very small place so plan on eating in the car or at home but its more than worth it. The owners are very welcoming which is the cherry to visit this amazing restaurant. Go, eat and youll be very happy!
Stephanie Brough Our server was Moi! I have to say he gave EXCELLENT SERVICE! Very attentive! We had the fish tacos, pork belly, taco, and a habanero margarita, double cheeseburger, and painkiller drink. I forgot to take a picture of the food. But we highly recommend this restaurant. The seating is very comfortable. The tables are very roomy atmosphere is excellent.
K O Such a chic, relaxed, ambient atmosphere. Service was attentive, playful, and set the tone for a great dinner.
I love the creative yet intentional menu. It’s built from thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients. Some dishes were a bit daring, but it worked. Everything from the cocktails to starters to mains were stellar. Overall, Avize was a delightful dining experience
