Homestead - (Near Cumming, GA)

John Hornick Chef’s Apprentice Category: Irish pub. This pub and restaurant has something for everyone: a pub on the entry level, a rustic dining room upstairs (which is also street-level, with a ramp, for handicapped guests), and a patio. The pub is the kind of place we would want to be at night, for drinking or dining of both. It looks like a great place for — wait for it — shenanigans. The pub itself is quite an investment, as every square inch of it, including the ceiling, is wallpapered in Greenbacks. Money may not grow on trees, but it grows on this pub’s walls. The bar itself seats about 6 and several hightops with stools provide more seating behind the stairs. We were there for a post-wedding brunch, so we sat in the upstairs dining room at a table for 13. Shenanigans also happen here, on the graffiti wall. Later on this beautiful mid-November afternoon we would have enjoyed the patio, or even at night at one of the firepit tables. Everyone in our group said they loved their food choices. Sarah loved her grilled cheese sandwich and I enjoyed my generous Irish scramble with bacon added. Maddy C. We always come here when were visting Augusta. The food here is always good and the staff is always very friendly. We always get the cheesy beef fries, which is such a good priced appetizer. The fries arent soggy, still crunchy, loaded up with toppings that make it the best ever. We always get the build your own, you choose a base, proteins, sauces, and up to 6 extras like sesame, fried egg, green onions, etc. Its a pretty big portion for a good price. Pictured is the pork belly (super tender!!) and Korean BBQ beef (very seasoned!!) bowls. We paid $43.00 for the appetizer and 2 build your own bowls, which isnt bad at all. Theres plenty of seating as well, including outside when the weather isnt bad. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and accommodating when needing help deciding what to order. We will definitely be back. 10/10 food, atmosphere, and staffing !!

Johnny Dodson Emma was our waitress and she was the absolute best!! She was courteous, professional, and very sweet. She frequently checked on us and made sure we were completely satisfied.

Amy Lawhorne We came in Friday night and had the absolute best service! Jeff was our server and he did phenomenal. We were a party of 10 with zero complaints. Our Nana is 87, and Jeff truly made her night with his kindness and personality! He made our night the best experience we’ve ever had at any Olive Garden. The food was great, everything was timed well, and the service was the absolute best! Thank you, Jeff, for being such a kind human! You truly went above and beyond.

Charley LaPlume Wow! First time here. Santana and Marissa, who took our orders, were so kind and friendly. The food came out quickly and it was delicious! The young woman who brought out our food was also so sweet and kind. This restaurant was very clean. The whole atmosphere was great and I’d definitely come back the next time I visit this area!!
