5 /5 Halie Pullen: Absolutely delicious meal on our way driving south from Tennessee back home to Florida after spring break. We were just searching Google Maps for dinner spots and husband picked this place, and it was exactly the kind of vibe we were looking for honestly. The food came out super quickly, and was super tasty. I got the All-American burger with fried green tomatoes for my side, and ate every single bite. My husband got the fried chicken stuffed spud, and he raved about that. Our girls had chicken bites and cheese grits and both loved it. Definitely saving this place on the maps for the next time were looking for a place to eat in this area.

3 /5 Vontrail Smith: The food was good, and the waitress was nice. But the atmosphere felt very.... "Southern" and not in a good way. From an African American person, Thats the best way I can put it. My 9 year old daughter kept speaking on how uncomfortable she was the entire time. Its nothing they did wrong particularly. But its just the feeling when you sit in the place. Those that get it, get it. If I ever get any food from there again, Id just get it to to go. Not dine in.

5 /5 Penny Watson: We stopped here for lunch and it was so delicious. I had the pork loaded baked potato and could only eat half as it was so big. My husband ordered the special, which was 2 pieces of catfish, 2 sides and a drink. The sweet potato were the best we have ever had. Our waitress was very attentive as she was refilling our drinks before before we could ask. The restrooms were clean. We will stop back when we are in the area again!!

5 /5 Tyne Khwais: This place is great! We travel over 20 miles one way to dine and do so happily. Small country hometown diner. The wood and deer mural walls add to the no frills, but fantastic food feel. The pictured jumbo tenders are a go to! We thoroughly enjoy strawberry shortcake dessert they have as well :) My husband loves the brisket topped potato. The waitresses are good at what they do, the food is delicious and the lunch specials are very reasonable!

5 /5 Mc ShellBell (ShellBell): Update: 7/25/2024 My husband and I dine in and ordered fried green tomatoes. ( wasnt fried hard like asked. Soggy the breading wasnt done cooked all the way to us) my husband ordered The Griffin 14oz ribeye with loaded baked potatoe and salad and I ordered the Fried shrimp with fries and salad. Not sure who dropped the ball. the waitress or the cook but we had to wait on the French fries to come out. By the time they came out we were about ready to ask for to go boxes. ( most everyone in the restaurant had to wait for fries ) when they came out the fries were not hot at all just Warm. My husband baked potatoe was not hot. The butter he put on it wasnt even melting. Asked for her to warm it up for him. Then had to ask her where it was been waiting on it. Its not like they were busy. Was only a hand full of people in the restaurant when we were there. Wasnt the same waitress as the first few times were been there. Few young females working the floor. Now with all that said what we did eat was good. My husbands ribeye was cooked like he wanted it and my shrimp was too. We will try again another day. We went to Hosss BBQ restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. We have been hearing about it and wanted to try it out. We first ordered the Fried Green tomatoes, OMG they are so delicious. I ordered the brisket stuffed baked potato. Took most of it home. I also ordered some greens. They were good, too. My husband ordered the brisket plate with fried okra and fries. The waitress was friendly and all smiles. The restaurant was clean. The ladies bathroom was clean. We will definitely be back.
