5 /5 Carolyn Roberts: It is always a pleasure to have Sherry as your waitress. She does not treat you like a customer, she treats you like family. You never have to wait for refills for she is watching closely and she gets the refills before you have a chance to ask for it. I used to go into a previous place she worked, we went in real often, when she left so did I. I do not go back there and if she leaves the Huddle House I will do the same. I drive out of my way to go there to eat because I know that I will be treated like family and have good service.
I made a mistake one time and forgot when she was off and I went way over there and one inside I remembered she was off I was upset with myself. I was even more upset that the waitress that waited on us need to be working at an airport she was so slow. We sat with nothing to drink more than ten minutes and we were trying to get her attention all that time so we could get something to drink before we choked to death.
If ALL your waitresses worked and tested the customers then you would be full all the time. She should get a bump up to trainer and train them how to take care of the customers. I will be more careful to remember when Sherry is off. If I make a mistake again and she is not there I will get up and walk out. I refused to pay good money with someone that cares no more for their customers than the rest act like they are.
Sherry is awesome and she does not get upset if the cook gets the food wrong and you have to send it back. Most of the time Sherry notices it before I do for she knows how I like my things cooked. Oh yea, I forgot to say that when Sherry is there and sees me getting out of the truck she has the table set up for what she already knows I will be drinking. Before my husband passed she had his set up as well.
Keep Sherry around and you will keep good customers.
