Jamie Todds Casual Dining - (Near Hartwell, GA)

3 /5 Cheri Strickland: This place is cozy & homey with a flare of country casual. The service was really good. The waitress was attentive to our needs & kept the cups filled without having to be asked. The food, eh; I had the Chili & Cheese with Onion hot dog. It was pretty good, but I believe the chili was canned. It had a good amount of cheese and onions, that those are a plus. The other meal was the chicken Chimichanga with cheese. It was a good portion but lacked in substance. There was very little chicken in each slice, although it did have some bacon in it but the cheese was scarce to say the least. The salsa that we got to go with it tho, Chef’s kiss on that, it was delicious. The place was clean but really needs some TLC and I did notice poor wiring to the TV’s which could be a hazard.

1 /5 Kenneth Nowicki: Fire the cook!! The catfish was old and thin and soggy(freezer) the hush puppies were burned and had to be cut with a knife. The potato salad was watery, (freezer) The wiring doesnt look up to code either. Will I go back there NO. Only stayed because we are from out of state and were hungry, and left hungry. The service was GREAT though

2 /5 Susan Johnson: Went to the Friday night Fish Fry. Food was not hot. Servers were very inattentive. Long wait for food to be brought out. Spoons were not provided to get a serving of slaw and vegetables. Not crowded at all. Only 2 other tables with three to four people at each were occupied the entire time we were there. 4 to 5 servers walking around or standing at the food bar. I have eaten at this restaurant before and was impressed with the food and service. My family and I went based on my recommendation about what a good place it was to eat. I was very disappointed at this visit.

2 /5 Dacks: Its a bare bones place without any decor, or ambiance. The food was OK. They offer all you can eat specials, the night we were there it was catfish night. Some mornings is a breakfast buffet. If you are new to town, maybe wait and stop in when you have tried everything else and are ready for the full hartwell experience.

1 /5 Antoinette Heaton: I had the chicken and dressing with purple hull peas. My husband had the fried chicken and creamed corn. The dressing taste like sweet cornbread with no gravy. The chicken was tough. The peas had no flavor. My husbands chicken was bland, no flavor. Very disappointing, because we both ended up with a bad stomach ache and diarrhea. Don’t waste your money.
