La Cabaña Dillard - (Near Dillard, GA)

5 /5 Kelly Guinn: My boyfriend is obsessed with Mexican food. I am not. So naturally we stopped into La Cabana after doing some sight seeing around town. This was supposed to be a quick bite as we intended on going to dinner later in the evening. He got his usual, a quesadilla with steak. His mom got a chicken quesadilla and his dad and I each ordered chicken soup. I had never seen soup at a Mexican restaurant before but figured it would be a light alternative for me. I can NOT begin to tell you how happy I am with that choice. It was so flavorful and savory. I am already researching recipes so I can try to re-create it. I was told both of the quesadillas were very good and I can confirm the chips and salsa were amazing. They sell several different sizes of margaritas. We got one medium and it was more than enough for two people. The prices were very fair and the service was outstanding. Actually whole purpose of this review was to compliment the service, especially Kevin G. I am still so in love with my soup but Kevin was quite possibly the best server I’ve had anywhere. He was very friendly, and extremely attentive. He even went and got the Monster size margarita glass to show us a comparison to what we ordered. If we lived up in this area, I have little doubt that La Cabana would be our go to spot for dinner. Can we pack it all up (and Kevin) and take it back to Florida with us? 10/10 would recommend!

1 /5 Yurubit Mendez: *It’s not authentic No es auténtico *Food does not have flavor on its own, needs sauce or dip La comida no tiene sabor propio, tienes que ponerle salsa o queso Staff is great, attention is great, the place looks great its clean. However if you’re used to no flavor No salt in your rice, beans, tacos then well… If you like your food to taste like cheese dip then sure it will taste amazing. We left the majority of the food.

3 /5 Nicole Lovett: We stopped here passing through on our travels. I would say it was average. The service was good and the place was clean. The food itself was nothing to write home about and the portion size was small in my opinion. My husband and I got the nacho supreme to share ($14) and the kids split an enchilada, rice & beans ($7ish).

5 /5 Hope Ewers: We visited the area looking at the amazing waterfalls and our family was starving. We came to La Cabana and got the most flavorful, fresh food! Great atmosphere. Clean and spacious restaurant. The server and staff were accommodating & kind. I would give this a 10 star if I could!
