La Fondita of Douglas - (Near Douglas, GA)

Bon If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. We got a mofongo bowl and a roasted pork plate and every element was well seasoned and well cooked. The pork was fall-apart tender and moist, the rice and peas were richly seasoned and flavorful and the cookie we got was wonderful. The service here could not be better. Everyone was incredibly friendly, walked us through the menu and made recommendations. If we werent just passing through town we would make this a weekly visit. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Justin Jacobs The food and service here is awesome, especially the Rib Eye Steak sandwich OMG it was amazing. This place is off the beaten path and a little hard to find because it is nestled in between a store and a trucking company, and it is literally right behind that store. One thing is for sure It is well worth the drive I highly recommend it. They also have a drive thru and outdoor seating.

Brian Keller What an AWESOME SURPRISE. Impressive. Cloth Napkins.Our first visit. We were spoiled rotten. Did the $39 dinner for two. They make all the sauces and dressings in house. Ginger dressing is AMAZING. But being Im a Sushi Chef I had to try some things only special Sushi bars have. Eko Sansi or you may know it as squid salad. Best Ive ever eaten. Got a California roll. Love their rice wine vinegar to sugar ratio in the rice. FABULOUS!!! The service was above average. LOVED our waitress Tia. We will ask for her when we return. The owner Gloria also surprised us with a welcome gift. I cannot say enough good things.

silvy Tompkins Absolutely fantastic experience time and time again! The food here is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried has been perfectly seasoned and came out hot and delicious. But what really sets this place apart is the service. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. You never feel rushed, and they’re happy to make recommendations or accommodate requests. This is hands-down one of the best local Mexican restaurants around. We’ll definitely be back again and again!

Debbie Bowman I have enjoyed eating Parkers BBQ for many years and their cole slaw is the best I ever ate. I have got it alot to fix slaw dogs at the house. I love their bbq pork and ribs!!!

Addy Parris Got the 2 chili dog plate with mustard, chili, and onion. They use the red weenies which are soooo good. The chili was good and wasnt sweet. Definitely a good road trip meal right off the highway
