Jim N Nicks Bar-B-Q - Fayetteville

Rating: 4.5 /5
Ashley Marion Every staff member was very helpful. Made the experience great. I ended up stopping the cook Dre, he refilled our drinks without hesitation, and let me know he has to return to the kitchen but other staff members on the floor will assist. The food was cooked to perfection. Everyone wore a smile and moved with grace. For it to be a friends and family event and the staffs first time serving customers, the team was impeccable, couldn’t even tell they were all new.

Mi Jalisco Bar & Grill - Fayetteville

melody I had a wonderful dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Dyson. From the moment we were seated, Dyson made us feel genuinely welcomed. He was attentive without being overbearing, had great recommendations, and made sure everything arrived hot and within a timely matter. His positive energy and professionalism really stood out. Thank you, Dyson, for making our meal extra enjoyable – we’ll definitely be back mi migo!!

Ernies B-B-Que - Blackshear

Rating: 4.6 /5
krystal walker Had a taste for bbq so I went over to Blackshear to give Ernee’s bbq a try. It was my first time being able to catch them open so we got a variety of different meats. We got a brisket sandwich, a rib plate that came with two sides ( I chose what was recommended by the cashier and that was green beans, and Mac and cheese), and we got a pulled pork sandwich(not pictured with the Ernee sauce on it. We also had 2 large Jumbo lemonades. We paid roughly $39 for all of this. The ribs were very tender, and falling off the bone. I could have used a lil more seasoning(my personal preference) but they were amazing…And I topped them with a mixture of Ernee (sweet) and the Avant (mustard base) sauce 9/10 The brisket sandwich was tender, full of flavor, and went well with the toasted bun 10/10 The pull pork sandwich was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches we’ve had in years 10/10 The side of green beans…OMG I can tell somebody grandma is cooking those.. they had bacon pieces in em and was cooked to perfection ( the lady at the counter told me she bet I had probably never tasted any green beans like those, and she was right!! They were really good and I can’t wait to get another helping of them! 10/10 The Mac and cheese.. it was more white than yellow (I prefer more yellow Mac and cheese) but it was better than I expected.. I don’t think it was baked, but it was very creamy and delicious. 10/10 The lemonade—- homemade and even had the lemon seeds in it! 10/10 The customer service: we waited a while to order,(another customer was ahead of us).. but that was ok..because it was beautiful out and we were able to enjoy some fresh Georgia air. The young lady taking our order was very knowledgeable of the menu, gave recommendations, and was very nice! The more seasoned lady (I think she’s the cook) was very pleasant and smiled throughout her entire interaction with me! The prices were great and I couldn’t eat half of my food.. I will def be back and if you haven’t gone over there please run across the bridge to blackshear for some really really good bbq!

Oak Plaza Restaurant -

Derek Tippins The Oak Plaza Restaurant in Blackshear holds a special place in my family’s history. My grandmother started this restaurant back in 1957 and ran it for 30 years. It’s been a part of our town for generations. If you’re ever passing through Blackshear, I highly recommend stopping in. Great food, great people, and a true small-town classic.

Wit & Wisdom at The Mountain Top Lodge - Dahlonega

Rating: 5 /5
Patrick Kubisiak My Fiance and I had the incredible luck, timing, and opportunity to visit Wit and Wisdom last Saturday. Georgia Stormfront blew out power an hour before our reservation and chef and his crew showed up and threw down in the middle of torrential rain, making a Michelin Star-worthy dinner by headlamp and iPhone light. Can’t speak highly enough to how perfectly cooked, crispy and juicy, the pork shoulder was. The crispy stuffed chicken was insane. The English pea soup was out of this world and classically unique. Beet salad just rocked. And my guy did artichoke heart in a way that’ll haunt me… so flippin good. It was also just honestly inspiring seeing the full kitchen and folks working at the lodge proper rally together in the middle of a storm to make a world class experience happen. If you’re thinking about visiting wit and wisdom quit the indecisiveness and place that reservation NOW.
