5 /5 Doug Todd: Good food is maybe the best reason to eat at a restaurant, but finding good folks there sure does add to the flavor and experience. We finally got to this place tonight and I am so glad we did! We both ordered the rib plate but each ordered different sides, so we got a good sampling: Brunswick stew, baked beans, fries, and smoked yams. I like my fries grease-fried and crunchy. These were air-fried. Just not the same, but they were good. I would readily order all those sides again. The ribs were REAL! Large, meaty, really tasty, and fall-off-the-bone done. The wife got one of the pumpkin spice cookies. Wow! The one bite I got was awesome. The dining area is separate from the kitchen. REALLY, I mean like a whole separate building! But it is inconvenient only for the staff. They went way out their way to meet our needs. Like I said: good folks! Im planning to be there at least two more times this week. I can do so because the price is right. I can say more but Ill end with this: If you never eat here, you are a nut!!
