Locos Grill & Pub -Food CA (Near Statesboro)

3 /5 Christine Horton: Stopped for dinner the Friday after Christmas. Place had about 6 tables of patrons. We were seated relatively quickly. Took a minute for a server to come to our table. We order spinach dip for an appetizer, it was just ok. We ordered boneless wings with fries and a club sandwich. The fries were good. Chicken was ok. Club was more bread than anything else. Probably will never stop here again.

4 /5 Crystal Allen: The Grilled Shrimp were really good my son enjoyed them. Steak tenders and baked potatoes were also good. However, the Macaroni and Cheese is not tasty at all. There were clumps, dried pieces, and no taste. Kinsey was very friendly and attentive.

3 /5 Dave Targaryen: Originally I was going to give it a higher score but upon returning a few more times lets just say the experience was not as great. First off Id like to say the first few times weve been at Locos, which would be around December 2024 to March 2025, it was great! Food was always good and the atmosphere was exceptional. Gave small town pub vibes without it being small or cheap. Then... On our third time there my wifes burger was undercooked. They told us theyll switch it out and only have us pay for the second one, and yet they still charged us for both. The time after that we went the food for the most part was good, but it took much too long to get to us. Weve returned about a few months ago, and this time the food was really good, except the server was incredibly unprofessional and in a hurry. After we ate we waited for about 15 minutes for them to give us the check. Granted, it was a busy night, but she walked past us and we asked to pay and she simply continued to walk. Today (14th of November 2025) we decided to go here for a friday lunch. Place was practically empty. Server was incredibly shy and acted like she was afraid to serve us or anyone else. We ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer and she returned after five minutes telling us no one "took it out" today so we could choose something else. I assume it meant it was frozen which... Alright. My wifes sandwich after was fine but my Mac and Cheese dish was probably dipped in Cajun seasoning because you couldnt taste the cheese, the chicken, nothing apart from Cajun. It was... So salty. I will also add the waitress asked us multiple times if anything is to our liking (Like more times than usual one would), the cook at some point came out and asked and even what I can only assume to be the manager did too. I will note none of the people (apartment from the manager) that worked here today have we seen working her before and I didnt see anyone we couldve recognized from before. I dont know if they had mass layoffs or perhaps even a mass walkout but... Something isnt right here. Cook also added he was still "learning to cook". Overall it is a shame because I really liked this place and the atmosphere was still great, but we probably wont be back for quite a while. Not saying Im not willing to give it another chance in the future, but Id rather wait a year or so to see if it still stands after their quality deteriorating at this pace. Tl;dr quality kept on declining over the past year until a very unpleasant experience on our last visit.
