Gritz Family Restaurant - Griffin

Rating: 4.5 /5
Jessica Pictures My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining at Gritz, and I can confidently say it was one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our waitress, Ashley, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. We ordered pancakes, biscuits, grits, eggs, sausage, and of course, some classic southern sweet tea—and every single bite was amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, the biscuits were perfectly soft, the grits were creamy and seasoned just right, and the eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection. The sweet tea was pure southern comfort in a glass—sweet, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. Gritz truly captures the heart of Southern cooking, and with service as excellent as Ashley’s, it’s a place we’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, flavorful, and unforgettable meal!

michael behill My son and I were on the hunt for some good hibachi, and Tokyo Restaurant did not disappoint. We were seated in under five minutes, and from that moment on, everything about the experience was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly, the portions were generous, and the prices were more than reasonable. Our drinks were kept full without even having to ask, and the food was packed with flavor — exactly what we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be back with the rest of the tribe next time. If you’re looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere, stop in. You won’t regret it!

Ilona Yakubenko This was our first time visiting this café — I found it online, and we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and delicious everything was. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was amazing: tables close to the road, people walking by, creating a lively tourist vibe that paired perfectly with the beautiful food and pleasant service. I ordered salmon, and the kids ordered burgers with fries — and even the kids were absolutely thrilled with the food. The fries were especially good. Later we tried fruit and a dessert inspired by Dubai chocolate with ice cream — a must-try. It’s very sweet, but even though I usually don’t like sweets, it was delicious. I also had a lavender coffee (can’t remember the exact name), and it was outstanding.

Karen Bowen-Jordan Went to eat here on Friday night, October 23, 2020. It is a nice, peaceful ride through the countryside before you arrive at this quaint looking little shack sitting in a field beside a pond, but at 7 p.m. the little restaurant was packed. The atmosphere is old fashioned, rustic, and friendly. We had reservations, however, so no wait. We all had surf, turf, and air. The order was grilled shrimp, filet mignon, and fried quail with choice of sides.. Warm bread loaf is served with butter and is delicious. Salad, soup, and dessert bar has a good variety of selections, and everything was pleasingly palatable. Being very finicky about the way my steaks are cooked,, the filet mignon was cooked exactly to my specifications, which is seldom an easy task for many restaurants. However, they nailed it! The quail was excellent with the breading light but just right. Grilled shrimp was also excellent especially coming from a restaurant not on the coast. Fantastic southern sweet tea complemented the meal. Due to the enormous amount of food with this meal I simply had no room left for dessert.. It had been quite a few years since last eating at this little, hidden gem of a restaurant, but the deliciousness of this meal for my entire party and myself exceeded the memories of the great meals I had eaten there in the past, many years ago. Looking forward to eating there again real soon. On a final note, the price was not bad at all. Reedy Creek Restaurant is a little bit off the beaten path, but totally worth the drive.

Reviews Wanderlust We stopped here for food before catching our flight. Our server was really friendly. The food has drastically improved since the time we came to their opening brunch. On this visit, I had the slider burgers. Perfectly cooked, hot, and tasty. Well be back!
