Maxs Place - (Near Franklin, GA)

1 /5 David Knight: We waited 20 minutes to get our drink order taken. We got our beers and then had to wait another 30 minutes for her to take our order. We ordered the captains platter which is the most expensive thing on the menu and two appetizers. 30 minutes later the main dinner came out with one potato, not two. No extra plates to put the crab leg shells on or split the steak. Ordered the steak medium and it came out rare. Then they appetizers came out and they were both cold. Ordered a Coke for after the beer and didn’t get it till the third time I asked. I complained to the waitress but still had to pay the whole bill. I wasn’t paying for that service so I left no tip. Got an email yesterday and they took a tip out any ways. DO NOT RECOMMEND

1 /5 J. Love: Seems like a neat place. The food certainly looks nice in the pictures. I would have loved to have tried it. We were seated at ~6:35 and walked out at ~7:25 without having received our order. We were told the delay was because there was a big table. There wasnt. It wasnt busy at all. Parking was trouble because people were parking like they were already drunk. Thats not on the restaurant, but keep it in mind.

4 /5 Greg Heinisch: We had a nice lunch there today. My wife and I both had the catfish fillets. I had Cole slaw and onion rings for my sides. My wife had a baked potato and Cole slaw. The potato was a little old, but okay. The sweet tea was very good and the pretzels with beer cheese we had as an appetizer was great.

5 /5 Will Wright: First time eating here since moving to the area and the food & atmosphere was amazing! The owners came and introduced themselves and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back!
