James Strickland This was our first visit, and it was great. The food tastes so fresh. We told our waitress Alecia that it was our first time eating there, so she went a long way to help us order and offered very pleasant service. We wanted for nothing. The longer we were there, the busier the restaurant became. The food quality was great for the price, so we plan to return soon and would certainly recommend checking it out.

Brandon Witherow Honestly, this is such a nice and quiet restaurant that my Wife and I always sneak away for a lunch date. The lunch special is extremely affordable and always delicious. They have the best clear soup we’ve ever had, and trust me, we’ve had a lot of clear soup in our sushi adventures! Their sushi is never fishy and always is fresh!

Chris Bogue What a great local place to stop and enjoy. This place was a quick find on a day trip to Canton. My wife and I loved the atmosphere. Our server as kind and offered great suggestions, and WOW the food was excellent!

Jessica (JessHaulinAuss) Delicious smokey BBQ! We bought a whole rack of ribs. The meat was smokey & tender. Held on to the bone when you picked it up but pulled off with ease, leaving a clean bone. Cooked to perfection and didnt even need BBQ sauce. We still tried the sauce just to see, and it was tasty but on the vinegar side. Also, the wings were phenomenal! Smoked, then fried I believe. Great flavors, I tasted hints of bacon somehow even. Got lemon pepper flavor, which was good but a tad salty in my opinion. The sides were all delicious too, and the sweet tea was sweet southern style. Staff was friendly, service was fast and our food was delivered to our table fresh and hot. The atmosphere was decent, but the benches/seating were confined and small for larger size people. We will be back to try other items for sure!

Anthony Divinagracia Recently went here for lunch with a friend. I had heard good things of the original North Georgia BBQ locations in Dahlonega and Cleveland so when I found out that they had opened a location in Gainesville, I was very curious to try. The interior of the new restaurant looked great with a bar at the side and a big open dining area. As this was both our first time eating here, we decided to go with the fan favorites: The Brisket plate and the Pig Melt. The Pig melt was a pulled pork & cheese sandwich with Texas toast for the bread with a side of French Fries and tangy BBQ sauce. The Brisket plate consisted of 2 large cuts of brisket with 1 slice of Texas toast and 2 side items. My friend picked the collard greens and mac n cheese. For BBQ sauce, he picked a spicy one. The Pig Melt was delicious with juicy pulled pork and the toast was neither too greasy or burnt, just right. The french fries were seasoned well, crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside. My friends brisket was quite a surprise. We both agreed that it was a good cut of brisket neither too dry nor too fatty, just right. The Collard Greens and Mac n Cheese were also great as well. The brisket was so big that my friend had to get a to-go box for it which our server happen to notice and went to grab one instinctively before he could ask. Such good customer service! We both left stuffed but satisfied with the restaurant. We both look forward to what other things are offered like their oysters and banana pudding.

Bird of Passage Atmosphere...excellent Service... phenomenal Affordability...yup Food....omg!!!! So excellent. All the flavors, feels, and portions that truly say THIS IS SOME DAMN GOOD MEXICAN FOOD! Made an impromptu visit to Summerville and rolled the dice on a restaurant. Id say we won HUGE. They clearly take pride in their establishment and value their customers. If youre ever in Summerville....you have to try this place!
