Mortens at Old Town - (Near Columbus, GA)

Logan After arriving in town and exhausted from driving, we found this spot and wanted to go here for the charcuterie board my wife saw in a review. What we didnt know was the food and wine festival was going on and everywhere was busy for such a small town. When we asked for accommodations for our stroller and if we could sit down and get some food with our son, the staff didnt hesitate. The hostess was especially friendly and our our stroller in her work area so it was close by. Our server was the bartender and she mailed some recommendations as well as the service. When our son started fussing we tried to swap our order to go so we wouldnt disturb the other guests. Instead she gave us some cut up fruit to entertain him. She was a God sent in that moment. All in all the staff was our highlight but do not let that take away from food. It was spot on and the duck was worth the wait!

Nash Higdon Great atmosphere and amazing food! My wife got the New York Strip and it was a perfect buttery cut through medium rare just like she ordered! I got the seafood platter with oysters, scallops, shrimp and catfish and everything was grilled and fried perfectly! Can’t recommend this place enough as the wife and I plan to make this a monthly place for us!

Jenni McDonough Service was excellent, as was the food...a totally good surprise. Restaurant is super clean. Food smells amazing when you walk in. We tried Worlds Edge based on the stellar reviews. So glad to have found this little secret gem before it gets so busy that you cant get a seat. You should definitely try this place!! The noodles are hand made from Hawaii. Blackened salmon was perfectly cooked.

B Off the beaten path find doing a Google search for lunch options. I arrived for lunch with not many people eating there but by the time lunch was over and it was time to go, a lot more people were coming in to eat. The food was good. It came out fast. The server was friendly and attentive. The inside looks like a residence with lots of colorful Mexican decor. I would come back again

Austin Deloach Rocco’s Ristorante is such an awesome addition to Moultrie. The building itself is beautiful — they did an amazing job with the historic theater. It feels special as soon as you walk in. We started with the calamari and the fontina dip. The calamari was super crispy with a big, hearty portion. The fontina dip was rich, creamy, and you can definitely taste the quality of the cheese. For mains, our group tried a little bit of everything. • The Orzo with scallops was a standout — very creamy and the scallops were seared perfectly. • The Chicken Marsala was really good, especially with the mushrooms and bacon in the sauce. • The Chicken Parmesan was a hit — big portion of chicken and the sauce had a really nice tangy, rich flavor. • I had the steak with skillet potatoes, and the steak was cooked exactly how I ordered and packed with flavor. And the skillet potatoes… trust me, get that side. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and a much-needed spot for Moultrie. Can’t wait to go back!
