5 /5 maritza: Upon arriving, we were seated outside next to the vineyard. Our waitress was very nice and got our drinks out within a fair time. I got a white wine which was nothing too crazy but solid. Our food selection was different because it was Thursday Tapas. We ordered Wild Mushroom Galette, Escargots, Beef Bourguignon, and the special that that Pimento Cheese. The Wild Mushroom was great and my favorite and had enough flavor and creaminess. Escargots was my first. I didn’t like it but that’s me. Beef Bourguignon was alright. The potatoes were perfect but the gravy was a little too thick and the meat was a little over cooked and dry for me. Disappointing, especially considering I really enjoy Beef Bourguignon. The Pimento Cheese was also a dud but it was because of the bread provided. The toasted garlic bread with it was not good (like a bad crouton) but the rye bread was amazing with it. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised with a complementary crème brûlée donut. Perfect. I wish I had 20 to go. The atmosphere was very relaxing especially with the live music. Very pleasant, not loud or overbearing.
I definitely would recommend and would come again but maybe some touch ups on the food it self. It’s a great place when you’re having a getaway in the mountains.
