Tandoor and Tap - Statesboro

Rating: 4.7 /5
Julissa Gonzalez We drove almost 2 hours just for dinner here. The food and service were great! Special shoutout to our server Tyler C. We were his first table he served as he’s new to the Tandoor & Tap team and he did great! Super nice and very attentive! Can’t wait to come back!

Picho Mexican Restaurant - Claxton

Rating: 4.4 /5
Matthew Sands This is a simple small sit down to eat restaurant. The food is extremely good and more authentic than some of the others. Be prepared if you are trying to call in a phone order and they are slammed, they may take the receiver off the hook as it was 54m before we ever got through. The 2 girls were serving, cashiering, hosting, and taking to go orders. Might would give them a break if there was a cashier/to go order taker. It would definitely give the servers an opportunity to focus on their main priorities.

Gritz Family Restaurant - Griffin

Rating: 4.5 /5
Jessica Pictures My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining at Gritz, and I can confidently say it was one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our waitress, Ashley, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. We ordered pancakes, biscuits, grits, eggs, sausage, and of course, some classic southern sweet tea—and every single bite was amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, the biscuits were perfectly soft, the grits were creamy and seasoned just right, and the eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection. The sweet tea was pure southern comfort in a glass—sweet, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. Gritz truly captures the heart of Southern cooking, and with service as excellent as Ashley’s, it’s a place we’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, flavorful, and unforgettable meal!

Cutters (McDonough) Jamaican Restaurant #2 - McDonough

Rating: 4.5 /5
Safi First time trying this place. I had a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. So if you can’t handle spice / flavor do not try it and complain! Everything came out fresh and hot, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Generous portion for the cost it was well worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back. Happy to have an authentic Jamaican restaurant in the neighborhood.

Benny Pauls Soul Food - Madison

Jeremy Washburn The staff was wonderful and super friendly. The food was like being in a southern grandmothers kitchen. I really enjoyed the pork chops with potatoes and cream corn.

Culturistic Kitchen - McDonough

Rating: 4.1 /5
Chelsea Collins If you’re looking for food that actually feeds your soul, Culturistic Kitchen is that spot. The flavors are bold, intentional, and rooted in culture—you can tell every dish is made with love, not shortcuts. The seasoning is on point (not salty, not bland), the portions are satisfying, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. This is the kind of place where each bite reminds you why supporting Black-owned, culture-driven kitchens matters. Customer service? Warm, welcoming, and genuine—like family. You don’t feel rushed, and you feel appreciated for choosing them. Overall, Culturistic Kitchen is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Comfort food elevated, culture respected, and flavor that stays on your mind long after the plate is empty. Definitely a repeat visit for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
