Pepper Jacks Deli & Grill - (Near Portal, GA)

MaLissia Gunn Omg! This was the most amazing experience ever! It’s like going back home to my great grandma kitchen! I literally made sounds while I was eating! They also sell homemade pepper sauce. Yum yum yum it’s worth the drive! We were driving back home to TN NOW I WILL TRAVEL BACK TWO HRS JUST TO HAVE A TASTE OF THOSE COLLARD GREENS:)

Christi-Ahn Caldwell First time visiting girls early dinner trip...we visited on a Friday for the seafood buffet...we were a little early so we had a salad from the buffet and sat on the deck outside..it was lovely nice breeze, ceiling fans going and about 9 cats stop by to greet us but never came close...the salad was delicious and the servers let us know when the buffet opened so we can come inside to make out plates. Everyone was super nice and attentive . The food was hot andeven though majority was fried the food was batter in different batters and fresh grease. I had frog leg for the first time and they were great and taste just like chicken its not a myth. I had cat fish that u actually like no fishy taste of old grease taste. I was impressed by the freshness ofwill most definitely visit again.

Larry Reeves I found Rutledge Cafe quite by accident from checking and studying Google Maps. It’s a simple pleasure of mine: finding out of the way places to eat on the backroads of Georgia. I noticed this place and from street view I figured it was just my kind of place. Not fancy, just a promise of good food. My buddy and I went on motorcycles the first time and I’m here to tell you we were not disappointed. We both had catfish with sides of Cole slaw, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies and French fries. There are other sides but this is what we settled on. It was a feast beyond belief. The absolute best catfish I’ve ever eaten and the sides were top notch. Their menu has other great meals including meat loaf, chicken livers and fried chicken. The portions were big and the price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. As good as all this was it came in second to the people and staff that run this cafe. They make you feel like you’ve walked in the back door at your grand mommas house just in time for dinner. They are all smiles, chatty and make you feel like they’ve know you since you were born. Please, give this place and the people who work here a try. You won’t be disappointed either and you’ll become just like me…….. a regular customer at Rutledge Cafe.

Billy Pyles By far the best wings Ive ever had. These are real chicken wings. Not the growth hormone antibiotic fed chicken that most places serve with all the fat and grisel. The x-hot surprised me it was not only real hot but flavorful and not a over bearing vinegar flavor. Wouldnt mind doing business and open one of these places in my hometown of FL. These local places cant make a wing to save their butts.

Deedra Griffin TJ is awesome! He always makes you feel like the most important customer when you are there. Food always comes fresh and hot. Love the apple pies and fish sandwich and they always hit the spot no matter the time of day. Ready to try the onion fries. The new Glorilla food looks horrible and not ready to try that but the other changes to the menu outside of that looks promising.

Kayla Blakley Main Moon has amazing food! I love their spring rolls and their crab ragoons. The shrimp fried rice has a decent amount of shrimp in each serving and I love how the outside of the sweet and sour chicken is always crispy but the inside is still juicy and you can taste the chicken.
