Pizza Hut Express - (Near Ashburn, GA)

Brent Rollins My dad was in the North Georgia Medical Center and when my sister and mom relieved me of staying with him I was starving! Being a burger fanatic I searched for burgers in Gainesville and this was the first place to pop up. Then I saw it was in a gas station and said "oh yeah, I gotta try this place! Boy am I glad, this place is excellent! I got the double bacon double smash burger and when she told me they deep fry the hotdogs, I got one of those too! About 8 minutes later Im walking outside to a picnic table since they do not have inside seating (the worst part about the place, but it was a beautiful day with little wind so it was great!) and started immediately scarfing down the burger. It was great! A little crunchy on the edges and enough meet towards the middle so you feel like you are actually eating something, not just bun and condiments like some smash burger places. And the fries were good but I didnt have time for those, the hot dog kept staring me down! So after wiping the hamburger out I started on that dog (dawg?). It was hot, juicy, and had a little crispy snap to it since it was deep fried, and the bun was lightly toasted, like the burger bun was. And it was not some little skinny dog either, more like a deli dog! Anyway, everything was great and if you are in the area I highly recommend you stopping by and trying them out! I also saw a truck or trailer on the side of the building so if you see a food truck or trailer that says "The Lunch Counter" from Gainesville Georgia, try it!

Larry Reeves I found Rutledge Cafe quite by accident from checking and studying Google Maps. It’s a simple pleasure of mine: finding out of the way places to eat on the backroads of Georgia. I noticed this place and from street view I figured it was just my kind of place. Not fancy, just a promise of good food. My buddy and I went on motorcycles the first time and I’m here to tell you we were not disappointed. We both had catfish with sides of Cole slaw, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies and French fries. There are other sides but this is what we settled on. It was a feast beyond belief. The absolute best catfish I’ve ever eaten and the sides were top notch. Their menu has other great meals including meat loaf, chicken livers and fried chicken. The portions were big and the price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. As good as all this was it came in second to the people and staff that run this cafe. They make you feel like you’ve walked in the back door at your grand mommas house just in time for dinner. They are all smiles, chatty and make you feel like they’ve know you since you were born. Please, give this place and the people who work here a try. You won’t be disappointed either and you’ll become just like me…….. a regular customer at Rutledge Cafe.

Michael Bennett Live the vibe of the place; I just did the walk up and ordered thing. What I really want to leave a review about is the food. 10/10 I will be back for future lunches as I have a construction project going on. Just ate a single burger with cheese and tots; real meat made into a patty on the spot, not pre-made frozen patty. I could taste it in the first bite. Tots are hot and crunchy. All of this for under $9 in 2025. Come and get some everyone; the food is great, the people are friendly and the vibe is chill.

Blake Young The bbq on sat was better than anything I’ve had in a while. The drink sizes are generous. They served the best baked beans I’ve ever had. Friendly people. Laid back atmosphere in the dining area. Thank you Margie’s for serving us here in the Hinesville area! I hope many more people come here and have the same great experience that my daughter and I did! Also, my daughter said, “that pink lemonade tastes good!”

Manning Richard “stonestigers” Really nice restaurant, good service first go around then when I went back to order more than I had to use the machine to order. I guess they were saving money on a cashier. I dont like using a machine and not getting a discount for the company saving money. Customer service should be number one, but things are changing. The bathroom was ok, but needed attention. Other than that, it was good.
