Dirk Ebener The Lakeside Tavern is an excellent location for burgers, salads, and finger food. My favorites are the burgers and fish tacos. Great service, always a friendly smile and conversation with staff, and amazing few of the lake and mountains.

Megan Malasarte My friends and I came for the wine tasting — had an absolute blast. Shoutout to Freddie for the best service! He was so attentive and gave the full rundown about each wine. Le Bon Nosh doesn’t miss. Period.

Andrea Cesare We had a superb dinner at the dining room this past Friday! We stayed at the Georgia Safari Conservation Park and made the quick trip into Madison to The Dining Room. The decor and atmosphere are on point - the music and lighting set the tone - you know you are somewhere special when you walk in the door and take it in! The service was excellent - thank you Andrew! Andrew also created our cocktails and did not disappoint. Everyone we came in contact with was warm, welcoming and wonderful! I haven’t even commented on the meal yet!! Delightful, delicious, creative, surprising are all words that apply. The plates were gorgeous and Chef killed the presentation. We chose the Chef’s Selection 4 course menu with wine pairings. We were not disappointed. I told my husband that the actual course experience blew away the description (impressive) of the course on the menu…. This is rare and seldom happens. Don’t miss dessert… The Dining Room excels at all things baked, whipped, creamed and sugared! It was my 60th birthday and it was amazing! Thanks you for making it so memorable and special. We will be back!

S - Tman I’m very confused, why some people don’t like this place! We came here on a Sunday right before a downpour of rain at noon and the service was excellent facilities were very clean and most importantly, the food was excellent This place has a lot of character! It’s fun to see the old signs and stuffed animals on the wall. The view of the lake is fantastic and it’s very clear that this place has recently been built or overhauled as the floors look excellent the walls look great and the tables and chairs are in good condition. The sweet tea is true, southern sweet tea! Five stars. I got the Philly cheesesteak and my wife got the catfish burger. The tartar sauce, the fries everything was excellent. It was a perfect place to come. After traveling to Seminole State Park Wood absolutely come back anytime. Would love to sit at the bar and eat some appetizers! The place does not look like a restaurant from the outside! And their storage units in front of the restaurant lol. Kind of weird, but also very unique.

Emily French Went here the other night, staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was phenomenal! I haven’t stopped talking about it! I got the Huaraches (Al Pastor and Chorizo). The flavor!! Portions were generous, had to take some home! I also got a piña colada for fun and it was very tasty! Would come back here for sure!
