5 /5 Chris Collin: We’ve eaten at Porfirio’s Mexican twice now—once dining in and once getting takeout—and both experiences were absolutely amazing. By far one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Monroe area.
Our first visit was dine-in, and I ordered the steak fajitas, which I split with my wife. We also had the fresh guacamole with chips and cheese dip. The chips were a little thicker than usual, which I actually loved—they made scooping the chunky, freshly made guacamole super easy and even more delicious.
Tonight we did takeout, and it was just as good. My wife had the grilled chicken nachos, and I had the chimichanga with rice and beans. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
