4 /5 Bishnu Choudhury: I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was pleasant and the service was fast, which made the dining experience comfortable. The preparation of the dishes was excellent, and the food felt light and not overly rich like many typical Indian restaurants.
However, the menu felt somewhat limited, especially for non-vegetarian starters and biryani options. It was also a bit confusing since there wasn’t a separate section for non-veg appetizers, which made ordering less straightforward. One surprising detail was being charged $2 for onions when we requested them on the side. That felt unnecessary, considering most Indian restaurants provide them complimentary.
Another small but noticeable miss was the absence of mukhwas after the meal. This is the first Indian restaurant I’ve been to where it wasn’t available, neither at the counter nor at the exit.
Overall, the experience was decent and the food was balanced, but with these small gaps, I’d rate it somewhere between a 3 and a 4 on a 5-point scale.
