4 /5 Ramona Carter: We stopped here on our way through town for a bite to eat one day for lunch. We were the only people there that day, and I believe they must’ve been short on staff. The person behind the counter was friendly, but we didn’t have silverware after our food arrived and we told her. She waited for us to get up and find it ourselves versus coming around the counter and helping. My hamburger did not have a lot of flavor, and I felt like the potato salad was too sweet. My son had fish and he loved his fish as well as his okra & sweet potato fries. I think we just happened to hit it late in the afternoon before dinner, but after typical lunch time.

3 /5 Jayla Colson: I’ve been here once after church, and it was overall ok…The table was very sticky. The service needs work. The line for the food is long. I feel overall it’s overpriced . I asked the waitress for a side of oxtails just to try them, she never brought them . The owner , who was very nice and pleasant, ended up having to bring them , after I brought it to her attention that I had waited 30 or 40 minutes ,and never received them. I payed almost 16$ for those and they were cold. I was Disappointed. Also, you don’t get to make your own plate. They pretty much decide how much you get . If you do decide you want more. You will be standing in line for 30 minutes, bc of the way the food is served. I do plan on giving it another try ,considering I’ve heard great things about this place. I just hope next time I have a better experience. The owner was great and honestly the highlight of the whole time I was there.
