OLD DADS Hometown Kitchen - Dawsonville

Rating: 4.3 /5
brian dobbins Get in your car, bring your family and friends for a stop at Flavor Town. This place brings it!!!! If it was possible I would give the place a Supernova rating, it will erase your memory of every wing you have ever eaten and burn the memory of this experience to your hippocampus!

THE LOBBY RESTAURANT - Douglasville

Rating: 4.8 /5
Tawania Grangent I had my 51st birthday party here on January 3rd. I worked closely with the owner via email to work out details. My guest list was +/- 60 ppl. When we arrived one of the 2 hostesses that had been assigned to us had to leave due to an emergency but the one that was left to pick up the slack did so and did it well. The DJ was fire and kept us on the dance floor. The wings and egg rolls I ordered for my guest were delicious and the drinks were not watered down. Its a great adult environment with a plethora of small plates that wont break the bank.

Honey Buns - Nahunta

Jan Doi Very nice environment the drinks are a good size lemonade and tea both very good! Went on a Sunday around 11am. A little after 12 it was crowded it’s a small size buffet with the option to order. It has two seating areas. Limited selection of food in the buffet but it is delicious!

Delbar - Buckhead - Atlanta

Rating: 4.9 /5
Enoch Eshetu My girlfriend and I came to Atlanta for my friend’s wedding, and Delbar quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. When we first arrived in the city, our room at Nobu wasn’t ready yet, and the valet recommended Delbar Buckhead to pass the time. They weren’t open at 11AM, so we waited until 11:30 — and it ended up being worth every minute. The food was incredible, the portions were generous, and the flavors were rich and memorable. We loved it so much that we decided to come back a second time, this time bringing the newlywed couple for a post-wedding dinner. I added a special request in the reservation, and the staff came through perfectly — they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for the couple, which really meant a lot. Another thing worth mentioning: when my girlfriend didn’t enjoy her cocktail, they removed it from the bill without hesitation. That kind of service tells you everything you need to know.

Cowarts Family Dining - Claxton

Rating: 4.7 /5
Leon H was in the area, im not a local and do not fit in with the city or the "crowd". only stopped for the lunch buffet because i know someone who is a Cowart and thought shed get a kick out of a pic. there were actually not a lot of choices and it seemed kind of basic and not really visually appealing. that said, the green beans and corn was super tender, the okra was on point, the spaghetti was strangely good, fried fish was ok. i didnt have the chicken and didnt want to fill up on that. the cobbler was kind of a weird runny texture i didnt love. i had two plates and was uncomfortably stuffed and its a lot of food for the price. the service was haphazard with everyone running around and it took a bit to get cashed out, but they were all nice about it and paying attention even though it seemed like nobody was paying attention. honestly, i would have rated the food a 3 and probably not come back. but heres the weirdest part. i had a craving for this place 2 days later super randomly. and resisted and then a week later, craved this place again. of all places. that does not happen for me. so yeah, ive bumped it up to 4 stars and may revise if i get to try other menu items.

Uberto Restaurant - Gay

Rating: 5 /5
Israel Wright An incredible experience. The menu stretched my (fairly experienced) palate. I became intimately familiar with miso and koji. That said, I believe I caught a glimpse of what chef Ryan Smith, Kara Hidinger and team are doing with Uberto. I appreciate the time, effort and forethought serving behind the scenes in the preservation, fermentation and curation of ingredients from the ground to our plates. This menu was stewardship served beautifully on a plate. Each bite was full of integrity, balance and exquisite culinary artistry. A well choreographed immersion of dining and hospitality. Top notch service. Personal, intimate, professional. A culinary adventure with excellent companions. It would be an honor to return.
