Steven Chandler This place is from another time in the old south when you didn’t have commercialized fast food. You come in to the screend-in dining area, order your food from a little window, sit and chat or listen to the conversation of the other folks in there. It might be 30 minutes or so, get your drink ahead of time and sit and relax. This place is cool. The burger was great, so were the fries, even the Coke tasted better. We chatted and watch the people come in. Some of the people called in and were picking up, others waited, some ate there some got it to go.
If you drive by and thought about it, stop thinking and just do it. They make your food to order, no heat lamps, and they are busy, so be prepared to sit a while and take it all in. These type of places are few and far between and should be a cherished. Again, this is not fast food. This is the good old south the way it used to be and I am so happy we found it again. The fellow next to me recommended the chili burger, so I’m doing that next!
We spent around 20 bucks for two Chief Burger plates and two large drinks. You can’t beat that.
