2 /5 Erma Campbell: The money you pay for food should reflect that but not at Sonnys. Workers do not wash their hands. Be careful when buying from Sonnys. It will be a few years before I teturn on dare.

3 /5 Your Mobile Notary: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I usually crave barbecue on Sundays, and since Albany is home for me, I decided to stop by Sonny’s BBQ here for lunch. I’ve visited several Sonny’s locations during my travels and have consistently had great experiences. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. The food came out quickly—but it was cold. Not lukewarm, not just “cooled off,” but noticeably cold. That alone was frustrating, but what made it worse was my server’s response when I brought it to her attention. She admitted she also thought the food was cold—even mentioning that the last plate she served felt the same—but she served it anyway. That’s unacceptable. I didn’t get the quality or experience I’ve come to associate with Sonny’s. I left feeling like I wasted my time and money. Albany deserves better, and so do the customers. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it, because this location is not meeting the standard of the brand.

4 /5 Mike Oetinger: I got the half chicken dark and it was dry and the fries were not good and old. But the service was exceptional and Reagan was great. She so sweet and understanding about the food. Definitely come back for sure.

3 /5 Jeff Elliott: My wife and I bought food for ourselves, and the experience was a bit of a let down. The outside flavor for the tenders was good in my wifes 3 meat dish, but the inside was very chewy, almost like it was not chicken. My wife didnt eat them. The ribs, coleslaw baked chicken and baked beans were good. However, the garlic bread appeared to be unfresh, and was tough to bite through. Additionally, the cornbread dessert was a rough spot. The bread itself also seemed unfresh. It was not moist at all and was nearly crumbly with translucent / pink strawberries, so those definitely were not fresh. The servers were nice, and the establishment was quaint. We want to say nicer things, like the French fries are good, and the cookies are okay.
