The service is genuinely impressive—friendly, fast, and they make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time in. The food lives up to the hype too—fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. From oysters to cocktails, everything feels thoughtfully done. Overall, it’s one of those places where great location, great service, and great food actually meet.

5 /5 Michaelangelo Robles: We were told the Bull River Oysters is a house specialty and it truly lived up to the hype. The oysters were fresh, briny, and impeccably presented. The mignonette, served in a droplet bottle, was a creative touch that enhanced both the flavor and the overall experience. The Shrimp Po’ Boy was outstanding. The shrimp were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The bread was fresh and soft.. and the balance of sauce was just right, complementing rather than overpowering the shrimp and bread. Shrimp and Grits (Gluten-Free) After informing our server of a gluten allergy, Jackson took extra care to confirm and reconfirm that the shrimp and grits were gluten-free. The dish was thoroughly enjoyed, and there were no issues whatsoever—adding peace of mind to an already delicious meal. Jackson provided excellent service throughout our visit. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and proactive about dietary concerns, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Sorry Charlie’s delivered on every level—fresh seafood, flavorful dishes, and impeccable service. The combination of quality ingredients and thoughtful hospitality made this visit one to remember, and we’ll certainly be returning soon.

4 /5 John Tiedemann: Stopped in for a quick drink and bite to eat. Shrimp tacos were exceptional. Warm tortillas and fresh hitnshrimp and cold toppings cold made for the perfect bite. Firecracker shrimp were served hot and fresh and the bed of arugula made the perfect bite. The oysters with butter, garlic and crispy crumbs were perfect. Wait staff was exceptional and we sat outside in the most perfect weather. Was definitely worth stopping.

5 /5 TraC Woo: This place is da bomb! Believe the reviews — the service, hospitality, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Our food came out piping hot in under five minutes and was perfectly seasoned. The flavors were straight out of New Orleans! The oysters aren’t chargrilled, but they’re just as delicious. We tried the grouper, salmon, and snapper, and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was. I will most definitely come back here ❤️❤️
