Spice House Restaurant & Lounge - (Near Lithonia, GA)

4 /5 S Williams: Food was great, was served steaming hot snd seasoned very well! Just how I like it! Oh and they include 18% gratuity on all checks no matter the size of your party. Service was what you would expect anywhere, nothing great but nothing bad either. The atmosphere- music was so loud you cant hold a convo with the person sitting directly across from. Its too much! I actually watched a couple, seemingly on a date, leave bc of the noise level. It really would serve this place better if they lowered the music. The decor is nice and it could be a great spot for dates but the obnoxiously loud music will create more 1 time visits than repeat business, sadly.

5 /5 Karen Burton: I went to Downtown Peoria to catch the Bus home to Atlanta, GA. I had experienced a great 70 year old Birthday Party Reunion with my High School Class of 1973, AOL/ Spalding. I had 2 1/2 hours, before the bus arrived. I went to Spice House Restaurant....right down the Street. I had a delicious Wrap! The meal was Outstanding. The Customer Service was Phenomenal. Everyone was extremely Friendly and Helpful. I definitely will be back! Great dining experience.

We ordered the oxtails and lamb chops, and the chef truly outdid themselves. The oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. If youre a fan of Caribbean cuisine, you NEED to try this spot! The real MVPs, though, were our server, Shamyra, and the chef! Shamyra was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like family. Her recommendations and warm smile added a personal touch that made our experience even more special. And the chef? Genius! The flavors, the presentation, the love – its clear that this team is passionate about sharing their culture through food. 1 /5 Chelsea Morton: Extremely bad service. Food is super mid. Place is dirty and staff is unprofessional. Found an eyelash or piece of hair in the Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese literally the same penne noodles as the Rasta pasta (lazy much?) they were out of plantains (on a Saturday nonetheless) and way too expensive for food that I could’ve made better myself at home. Moscow mule tasted like water with ginger ale. Don’t even bother unless I guess you go for the hookah and lounge I guess.

1 /5 Oshun Love: This is my second bad experience with spice House. I was giving it another try because its a neighborhood restaurant and I want to keep money in the neighborhood and its back on but it proved not to be worth it. food. salmon was good the mashed potatoes was mediocre the cabbage undercooked. First time I came and was dining in and the server was horrible. The manager at that time made apologies and give me complimentary mimosa. 2 years later I ordered GrubHub and after waiting a half an hour I was told that they never received the order. My delivery person was kind enough to wait longer than she should and then where it still wasnt ready to swungback around to pick it up When I spoke to KIA, the manager she requested I send her screenshots of my receipt to verify my honesty. After she saw the receipt she apologize and the food was ready within 15 minutes. I was not offered any complimentary anything as a matter of fact I requested cutlery & napkins but they were none in the bag. I will be visiting tomorrow but not to eat it will be to speak to the manager because its unacceptable.
