1 /5 AndTea: Got my friend to pick this up for me because they hyped it up before, but sorry, no. The cabbage was okay but it tasted bitter. The chicken looked good, but a lot of the pieces were tough and I couldn’t even chew them, and it wasn’t juicy at all. They didn’t have cornbread so I had to take Hawaiian rolls they clearly got from the store and called dinner rolls, even though dinner rolls are supposed to be made fresh and buttered. The only good thing was the macaroni, and even that didn’t have much flavor. On top of everything, I found hair in my cabbage. You can definitely find better. Overhyped!

5 /5 Dexter Horton: The food was absolutely delicious and very freshly cooked. I loved every bit along with the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was by far amazing and I cant wait to my next meal at this amazing business.

4 /5 A Crystal (Crissy): Everything had lots of flavor. The cornbread is not jiffy but old skool grandma cornbread. The yams tasted like sweet potato pie the oxtails were very meaty and came with complimentary rice. The Mac n cheese wasn’t bland but wasn’t that good. Seemed as if it had to much sour cream. Definitely recommend this place but I would call it in. The wait after placing my order was about 20 minutes. They do not have a steam table and I’m not sure how they are plating the food and keeping it warm in the back. Your plate is fixed in the back and brought to the cashier.

4 /5 H. Ashley “AFaith”: Hard to find due to lack of top sign but it is right next to the work out place. Glad i took a closer look! Very neat shop, love the decor and small business feel. Ordered the Whiting with okra and collards. Most meals cost $11.99, an outstanding price for fresh cooked food.

5 /5 Kimya Harris: When I tell you this food was to die for omg. They give you a lot of food for a reasonable amount of money. They have so many sides your going to have to try more than the 2 it comes with. But what really had my lips on the floor was the fish and grits meal. Good lord my Jesus that was everything. Everyone cant cook grits however they can. Creamy and smooth. Well season and the fish wasnt no little Piece of fish. It was 2 nice size pieces. Most definitely going back. Also Tre was everything. Very helpful ,very friendly so patient with me. Even told me how to order my meal so I wouldnt be spending so much money.
