Thai Won On - (Near Monroe, GA)

5 /5 michael behill: Family visiting from the West Coast and we decided to stop in for lunch at Thai Won On. From the moment we walked through the door, we were met with warm smiles and genuine positive energy. The food reminded me of the best home-cooked Thai meals I’ve ever had—rich in flavor and full of heart. The owner came out to talk with us and shared her story, which added so much soul to the experience. Beautiful people, beautiful energy, and incredible food. They even had live music and a wide variety of menu options to choose from. I ended up buying a T-shirt and hat and definitely plan on continuing to support this local spot. After just one visit, it instantly became a favorite. If you’re looking for amazing Thai food and truly authentic, welcoming people, I highly recommend stopping in.

5 /5 Tammy Kocher: A lovely restaurant! Unique set up and lots of tables to gather at. Beautiful authentic Thai artwork along an entire wall depicting a historical development of Thailand. That is nothing compared to the delicious food! We met the owner and cook/chef a sweet woman originally from Thailand who definitely is a gifted visionary and chef. I recommend doing what we did and ordering a variety of different dishes to share at the table. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and size of the plates.

I especially love the outdoor seating area—its a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the weather. The food is excellent; Ive tried a few dishes now and have been impressed every time. The cocktails are also fantastic and a great way to start the meal. The service was absolutely spot on, making the entire experience even better. Thai Won On is a fantastic addition to the downtown Monroe scene, which has improved so much over the years. Its definitely a must-try!
