Paul W. Peel The Old House is truly a Statham staple. I visited years ago for lunch, but today was my first time trying their breakfast—and it didn’t disappoint! They serve all the classic Southern staples. I ordered two eggs with cheese, grits, toast, and bacon. The eggs were prepared omelet-style and were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The service was five-star—friendly and attentive—and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town family restaurant: warm, welcoming, and charming. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and want a true Southern breakfast experience.

thechoygroup Over The Road Trucker Usually I photograph the food BEFORE eating but I had not planned this little hole in the wall to be so delicious so pardon the few bites missing in the photo but this place DOES deserve a good review from me. Delicious food doesn’t need to be complicated. Sometimes the best things in life are simple. I ordered a down home southern style lunch of fried breaded pork chop and the 2 sides I chose were mashed potatoes and green beans. It also included like a Pillsbury style dinner roll. The portion was not huge but I need to lose weight anyway and for just over $10, the price was affordable in my opinion. I highly recommend this place.

Emily Roberts perfect food & tenders especially. their honey mustard is also great. i get the macaroni as well. drive thru is usually long tho , they longest i’ve sat was maybe 10 mins. sometimes it’s short just depends i guess. the food is perfect:)

Eric Jones Delicious!!!! You get a lot of food as well. The house rice is a ton of food for $9! The cheesesteak filled and the fries are hot and crunchy! The wings seem a tad small but they are nice and crunchy. I had the spicy honey glaze and it did not disappoint. The wontons are yummy too!! The owner is really friendly and quickly corrected two mistakes made by the cashier. Everyone is new, so things happen. We definitely will be back again and again!
