The Catfish Shack - (Near Newton, GA)

Mrs Veal I’m honestly shocked that I hadn’t already written a review for this amazing place. Friends Grill in Commerce, GA is a fun, hip, and family friendly spot with delicious food, awesome cocktails, and ice cold beer. We’ve been coming here regularly for the past couple of years, and the customer service never disappoints. The staff has that genuine Southern charm that makes you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. Everything on the menu tastes great, but the cocktails truly deserve a special mention. They are creative, well balanced, and absolutely delicious. I love their novelty collection of tiki ceramic mugs used for some of the cocktails, such a fun touch. Their seasonal cocktail menu is always thoughtfully crafted and consistently impressive. Today I tried a spicy gingerbread cocktail made with vanilla vodka and another holiday dream called the oatmeal cookie martini. Both were incredibly tasty and festive. My husband and I absolutely love this place and always enjoy our time here in the super cute downtown area of Commerce, GA. They accept credit card and there’s free street parking, which is always a plus. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Wendy Martinez Got the menudo today with a pineapple drink and its rare to find a good soup I enjoyed it very well. 2nd time going and this is definitely a spot I would be going to every weekend. So far havent been disappointed. Oh and there chicken tamales are so good too. Go check it out and get your experience it will be worth it.

Louis Mccrary Listen if you are looking for great customer service and a vibe Thursdays from 6-10 the manager Pierre has Karaoke night and it’s a great time. They are very friendly and welcoming when it comes to service. The food is amazing $1 Oysters and Wings. They all so make you feel like you are very important rather you are sitting at the bar or the tables. I highly recommend to anyone. You will love it

mark yaun First trip to this new restaurant in my small town I had the chicken bacon ranch sub it was a large portion very delicious priced around 10 or $12. My second stop on the way home from work I had double bacon cheeseburger bag of chips and a drink mines were toasted the patties were medium well I would prefer medium rare but I forgot to ask very good overall not sure which one I like better the hamburger or the sub have a fairly large selection of items from pizzas wings and burgers subs is brand new restaurant in a very small town I hope they make it its worth a try

Laura Isaly This restaurant is a true gem. The trout and claim strips are amazing and everything is so fresh, including the delicious sides. The staff are delightful, attentive and efficient. We will be back again and again, highly recommend!!
