4 /5 Anna: We stopped by for dinner while in town on a work trip since it was conveniently located near our hotel. The service was great--we were seated right away and had just the right amount of time to look over the menu and order drinks and food. The restaurant offers a solid selection of classic Mexican dishes.
As soon as we sat down, we were served complimentary chips and salsa. We also added cheese dip and chunky guacamole to start. The cheese dip was a bit watery, which made it tricky to scoop, but it still had good flavor. The chunky guacamole was made with big pieces of avocado, onion, and tomato, all topped with lime juice--simple and fresh.
I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos, which came with a side of salsa. They were slightly dry but still tasty. Overall, its a solid spot for Mexican food if youre visiting Carrollton.
