TAB Went to try new experience - seems to have Salvadoran influence. Very authentic. 4 ppl in party - all agreed very enjoyable & delicious experience. Tuna ceviche tostada appetizer excellent. Quality & quantity of food was excellent & overabundant. Service suffered slightly due to language barrier & new server (obviously) but otherwise a superb experience. Arrived at 7pm on Saturday to empty restaurant and few trickled in as we finished. Host/owner/manager very attentive & friendly.

India Camille Johnson My boyfriend and I went there for the first time last night to celebrate his birthday. We live in the northern suburbs so we found parking to be a challenge, but not too much of one. This place is a must visit! Every single staff member we encountered displayed begond exceptional customer service. Shoutout to Mitch and Rebecca for making our experience top notch. They were both so kind and personable and made our first time there phenomenal. They were both attentive and kind and friendly and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. We were able to try the bisque and it’s a MUST HAVE!! We ordered the friend catfish with hush puppies, steam pot seafood boil, and a dozen raw oysters. Everything was fantastic. Best hush puppies I’ve ever tasted. The seafood boil was to die for. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I usually hate tartar sauce and horseradish in my cocktail sauce but both these items here are exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving some very well priced and high quality seafood. Thank you to Mitch, Rebecca, and the kitchen staff for making this night so special.

TABITHA Mama’s Boy is, without a doubt, one of the best breakfast spots in the country and it’s all thanks to their legendary biscuits. These biscuits are everything a Southern biscuit should be: moist, fluffy, buttery, and warm. They soak up the rich, savory gravy like a sponge, without turning to mush. Each bite is pure comfort. The fried chicken is just as impressive crispy and golden with a light, flavorful breading that lets the juicy chicken shine through. The portions are just right: generous but not overwhelming, leaving you satisfied and smiling. Take the cornbread-battered fried green tomatoes: tangy, perfectly firm slices coated in a golden, crispy cornbread crust. Each bite delivers that satisfying crunch followed by a burst of Southern flavor, with just the right balance of savory and a hint of sweet cornmeal richness. They’re a must-try side or starter that could easily steal the show. And then there’s the French toast—thick-cut, soft in the middle with a golden, caramelized exterior. Lightly dusted with powdered sugar and served with warm syrup or fruit compote, it strikes the perfect balance between indulgent and comforting. Whether youre a local or just passing through, Mama’s Boy is the kind of place that makes you wish breakfast lasted all day. From the biscuits to the chicken to the warm, welcoming vibe, this place sets the standard for Southern breakfast done right.

Carolyn Griffin The food was excellent. Our waiter was also serving as bartender. The service was poor. He spent too much time talking to other employees around the bar. Having one job would have been better. I did express my concerns, but he responded very nonchalant. I tipped because thats what I always do.

Fady Wow! The flavors are delicious! The food is fresh! My wife went to pick up a few things for us and when I opened the to go containers, I knew I was in for a treat, and boy was it delicious. We got two arepas (chicken and beef) and an empanada (beef) and I sincerely couldn’t figure which I liked the best. They were all amazing. My wife said the service was very nice and he suggested items to try. I can’t wait to eat there again!
