The Mercantile Bremen - (Near Bremen, GA)

5 /5 Ashley Cruey: This place is an absolute gem. I’ve been 3 times now and even though it’s a 30-minute drive for me, it’s worth every mile. The menu has some dishes you usually only find closer to Atlanta, the service is fantastic, and they even replaced my mimosa for free after my kid launched it off the table which was incredibly gracious :) Everything I’ve tried has been a solid 10/10. The carrot cake is non-negotiable, and the avocado toast… unreal.

5 /5 Branding Time: I cannot say enough good things about The Mercantile! The two men who own it came from the Big Bear Mercantile in Tallapoosa, and they’ve done a fantastic job here. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—inviting and cozy with a country charm, yet modern and fresh at the same time. I had the Ham & Brie sandwich with a side salad, while my partner enjoyed the Monte Cristo with pasta salad. We also started with the crab cake appetizer—absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with flavor and really hit that sweet spot between upscale dining and a laid-back place where you can just relax and sip a mimosa. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience. I highly recommend stopping in—you’ll be glad you did!

5 /5 Doug Barker: I am so glad I found this little restaurant. I had lunch there and had a chicken sandwich with a side of corn chowder. Both were fantastic, but I was absolutely blown away by the corn chowder! I’ve got a nice selection of merchandise and a comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

5 /5 Ryan Riegel: Sunday brunch was delightful. We arrived soon after opening and it wasn’t too crowded yet. The Morning Grab on a croissant had wonderfully fluffy eggs and was served with perfectly creamy grits. The Monte Cristo was like a French toast Benedict: a stack of ham, turkey, and cheese on a thick cut of eggy bread drizzled with jelly and powdered sugar. The French toast plate was served with cinnamon butter and the mimosa was delicious. There was also a selection of cakes, dry goods, decorations, and toys for purchase. Our girls begged for us to return soon.
