The Varsity - (Near Watkinsville, GA)

Melody McTier Jen & Jeremy provided a top notch meal for our wedding! We opted for a breakfast menu and it was PERFECT! All of our guests raved about the selection and quality of the food. Working with Jen ahead of time was a breeze. She was incredibly helpful in offering suggestions, and I never doubted that we were in good hands for our big day! Pricing was also super reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. (Something really hard to come by when wedding planning!) Though we went with breakfast, the sky is the limit in planning your menu with The Picnic Basket. If you can dream it, they can do it! I cannot recommend working with them enough. For any of your catering needs, give them a call!

Luke Chastain I had an incredible experience during my stay at the Bearded Bean. From the moment I walked in, the front staff made me feel genuinely welcomed—their politeness and attention to customer care truly stood out. They were friendly, patient, and seemed very passionate about the coffee they make, they really take pride in making sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. On top of that, the Cuban food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every meal felt like it was crafted with both quality and creativity in mind. It’s rare to find a place in tocca where both the service and the food leave such a lasting impression, but the Bearded Bean absolutely nailed it. Will be here again.

Matthew willis Stopped by this cute little town on our way to the mountains to hit the Anytime Gym (newest one in the state) and saw this cute Bistro just down from it. We stopped in and were beyond excited to see all the amazing fresh food options they had available. Most of all they offered many of their items in GF if need be. We both hand a sandwich and some pie and it did not disappoint. It’s crazy that despite the massive size of the city we are from, finding a place like this is rare, finding a place like this that offers GF items is even more rare. The staff were all very polite, and the atmosphere was relaxing and cute. Definitely will swing by here again if we travel this route in the future.

Nick Chavis Today I tried the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and fries as well as the Thai Basil Fried Rice with a 6pc Jamaican Jerk Wings ( the former is not pictured because it was devoured lol). Everything was very flavorful. Easy on the jerk if you’re not keen on spice. Everyone who worked there was pleasant and made sure the experience there was a great one. Highly recommend, I will be going back.

Can Can This is a small spot perfect to satisfy your hungry taste buds!! The Garlic Parmesan wings have a rich, crispy texture, the green beans and collard greens are out of this world bursting with flavor!! You should also try the strawberry lemonade refresher perfect for an hot summer day and candied grapes, the perfect treat after an amazing dinner!!

thyblacksmith Good selection of proteins and nice sides. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Nice, chill atmosphere; the lighting, decor, and music videos playing on the walls via projectors.
