4 /5 David Griffin: It was a slow evening there on a Tuesday night in December. The outside parking lot lights and road sign were not lit so I wasn’t sure they were open. Went inside and ordered and everything was really good and hot and fresh. I recommend this place.

5 /5 Chantaine Rhoe-Bulluck: We just discovered this gem in Douglasville and couldnt be more happy. The food is excellent, just as in the other locations weve visited. The fish was cooked fresh when ordered and delivered to the table quickly. The restaurant is comfortable and quiet, topped by the most welcoming staff imaginable.

1 /5 Quisha B: Unfortunately, our dine-in experience was very disappointing. I ordered the oxtails, which were dry and completely unseasoned. We brought this to the manager’s attention, and to his credit, he tasted them himself and agreed that they were not good. He replaced the oxtails with smoked BBQ wings, but those were also a letdown — they had no real flavor, just smoke with a light brush of BBQ sauce that did not taste like the restaurant’s signature sauce at all. The sides were equally underwhelming. The macaroni and cheese was bland and not seasoned, and the soufflé did not taste like the soufflé This Is It is known for. The only items we actually enjoyed were the black-eyed peas and cabbage. I also tried fried chicken wings, which were just okay — honestly, the hot sauce is what saved them. What truly made this experience unbearable, though, was the bathroom area. The smell was absolutely horrific. Washing our hands was so unpleasant that we were fighting not to throw up. That alone made us completely rethink the food and the cleanliness of the establishment. At that point, we just wanted to leave as fast as possible. This visit was extremely disappointing and not what we expected at all!! I have been supporting this franchise since it started in the early Stone Mountain; Off Memorial Drive and Rockbird

1 /5 Ramezia Collins: I went there twice in one day and the first time I stopped in, the service was too slow. I got out of the drive thru and came inside. I was the ONLY customer in the restaurant and 2 different employees ask me to wait. One was visibly on the phone and stopped to tell me the other person is supposed to help me. I came back later that evening for my husband and the portion size was unacceptable. I mentioned it and there was not much change to the order. I give up. I have been here multiple times but the service and satisfaction is too inconsistent. I can spend my money anywhere and I will do so elsewhere.
