Tokyo Japanese Restaurant - (Near Statesboro, GA)

5 /5 Chris Miller: Great food. We got the meal for 2 with steak, and 2 rolls. We were both very happy with the meal. The best part was the service though, our waitress name was Ryleigh and she did an awesome job!

1 /5 Jaden Sieppert: I placed an order for pickup, and they overcharged me but it gets WORSE! My order was sweet potato roll (3.50 online/ 4.75 at pickup), dancing eel roll (8.95 online/ 10.29 at pickup). sunny day roll (7.95 online/11.29 at pickup) total should have been 20.40 but instead was 28.44. Almost 30% more. When I was checking out there was a short little white girl helping me. I pulled my debit card out and she stated the price then took my card. It took me a second to process and but I said “that can’t be right, are your prices different online? She tapped my card to complete the purchase and said “yes they are different online” I asked why and she said “because we don’t update the prices online” I said “……ok can I speak to a manager?” And she literally said “no” and just walked away. I’ve never seen such horrible attitude and customer service. I have the receipt and screenshots of the menu and I will be disputing the charge. You should keep your menu updated and also fire the short white girl working the till on 5/15/2025. She sucks. How many people have y’all ripped off?

5 /5 Lana: My boyfriend and I came here Thursday night for our anniversary, and we could not have had a better experience! The food is AMAZING, and the prices are so reasonable! We got the hibachi chicken and the American Dream roll and the Rainbow roll, as well as a hibachi soup & a miso, and side salads with shrimp sauce. The American Dream (the pink one) is SO good (and pretty!). The dinner special for 2 is only $29 and included the hibachi chicken, both sushi rolls, and both soups (we just ordered the salads a la carte). So much food! Our server Hannah was great, super nice and helpful! We felt bad for being there so close to closing time (usually I try not to go to restaurants within the last hour or so) but everyone was super nice, and our waitress was even kind enough to take our picture for us! Ive been coming here for years and it may be my favorite restaurant in all of Statesboro. Definitely the best Japanese cuisine/sushi/sashimi! Ive even heard that they get fresh fish shipments every day. Convenient location too, right by Walmart Neighborhood Market/Jimmy Johns. Great atmosphere too - the lighting and decor is very nice. Feels sophisticated yet cozy. Overall: Generous portions, great pricing, *the* very best sushi & sashimi in town. Cant recommend this place enough!

5 /5 Chelsey Fleming: First time eating here, great experience. Avah was our server. She was kind and pleasant, served us in a timely manner and was very attentive. We also enjoyed their lunch specials.
