3 /5 Pedro Calero: The place itself is truly beautiful — a charming trattoria surrounded by a lovely vineyard, with a relaxing atmosphere and stunning views. The setting is picturesque and perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. The ambiance is definitely the highlight.
However, the experience was hurt by the poor service. Even though we had a reservation and there were plenty of empty tables outside, we were not allowed to sit in the outdoor area. The staff was not attentive or accommodating, and overall the service felt unfriendly and inconsistent.
As for the food, it was just average. For a trattoria that specializes in pasta, the dishes should have been much better. The ragù was basically simple ground beef with very little depth of flavor, and some plates even arrived cold. The quality did not match the expectations for this type of restaurant.
In summary, it’s worth visiting for the scenery and to enjoy some wine in a beautiful setting, but I would not recommend the pasta, nor would I go with high expectations regarding the food or service, is very expensive for the quality of food
