Village Burger - (Near Lawrenceville, GA)

4 /5 Obsidian temple: I recently visited village burger for the first time, and I have to say, it did not disappoint! The ambiance had a great vibe, but I felt that something was missing to tie the place together—perhaps some TVs or music would enhance the experience. I’m definitely planning to return, so I’ll update my review after my next visit. Now, onto the food: it was good, but I felt the meat could use a bit more seasoning, as could the fries. Despite that, I still enjoyed my meal. My wife, on the other hand, loved her burger and even prefers it over Five Guys! So, gentlemen, this might be a great spot to take your significant other. I ordered a Tropicalia beer, and it arrived warm—definitely a letdown since the draft wasn’t cold at all. Overall, I’d rate this place 3.5 out of 5 based on the service and food. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves on my next visit!

1 /5 Will Wright: Edited to add after owner response: Thank you for the apology. However, the difference between mold & bruising is obvious. I added another close up of the MOLD. It is distinct mold. If you get delivers twice a week, your staff is failing FIFO. With almost 20 years in the restaurant, I know the difference. Your staff wasnt rude but lacked customer service. It was very clear we were not wanted, even before the issues came up. You can see the distinct mold on the fries in the zoomed in picture. OMG! Mold on the food! Please look at the photos. They got our order wrong from the kitchen. They fixed this issue, then 3/4 the way thru meal, my wife noticed molding French fries! Absolutely disgusting! Made me stop eating immediately, and I love burgers and fries. I did get a full refund from the restaurant at least.

3 /5 Jay T: Service was great. The cheese burgers tasted okay, too much grease so not fun dripping oil every time we bit into the burgers. The fries and onion rings were also drenched in oil so not palatable due to pure oil taste.
