Waffle House -Food CA (Near LaFayette)

4 /5 S Chaney: Its a waffle house...atypical waffle house food fare but they were very accommodating regarding our large group and special requests due to dietary restrictions. It was a little busy so food took about 20 minutes or so to be served but overall zero complaints. Place was super clean, including bathrooms and parking lot. Would definitely go back...staff were great, very friendly.

5 /5 HaileyBeckham 0919: It’s Thanksgiving, my family and I have been working outside all day and we lost track of time and hadn’t cooked since we are cooking this weekend for the big meal. We decided to come to this Waffle House, it’s close and we knew it would be open. Our experience was actually wonderful, our server- bless her I didn’t catch her name, she was so kind. It was busy so you can imagine there was a little bit of a wait but we didn’t mind, we understand AND ITS THANKSGIVING! The cooks did an awesome job, our food was delicious! I am thoroughly impressed with this location. There was a lady who was rude, and if any of the employees(management or team members) are reading this, you guys did an outstanding job tonight! You handled the rush well and we really enjoyed the service and our meals. Thank you guys!

1 /5 Brittany Hicks: Sadly I can no longer recommend this location. My husband and I went in tonight, sat down and it took the server 15 minutes to acknowledge we were seated. Once she finally took our order, we waited another 30 minutes and our order still hadn’t been called out to the cook. There was only one server calling orders the entire time. Our server kept asking if she could call her orders and was repeatedly told no, because the other server had more orders. Multiple patrons who came in after us were seated, ordered and received their food before ours was even called out. Management needs to retrain the servers that worked tonight on how and when orders should be called.

4 /5 Mary Dill: Gonna give a 4 but overall it was iffy . I work at a waffle house so I know whats supposed to be happening. Our server was sweet but seemed very timid and nervous . Got brought out a burnt waffle and bacon and we asked to remake the waffle so she did so no biggy but they even have a waffle timer ! The omelet we got was really good but was drowning in the oil they use.

1 /5 RIley Marshall: Eggs were burnt. Three people were there when we came in and they did not seem to be busy. It took 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge that we came in. When we got our order both the eggs were burnt but we didn’t mind but then the lady said that our toast would be out soon. Let’s just say the kids working were more focused on their phones and vapes in the back and the toast sat in the toaster for our entire meal. When we were leaving we said we were missing the toast and she didnt offer a discount but asked if we wanted the cold toast in the toaster. They weren’t wearing name badges so couldn’t tell you their names.
