4 /5 Myleen: We visited this restaurant last night and overall had a mixed experience. The atmosphere was nice and inviting, but the seating felt a bit too crowded—servers seemed to have difficulty walking behind chairs, which took away from the comfort of the space.
The highlight of our entire evening was our waiter, Zack. He was absolutely outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. Honestly, we would come back again solely because of his service.
The food was good, but for the price point, we expected better execution and bolder flavors. The oysters were delicious and easily the best dish we had. Unfortunately, the main dishes did not stand out and fell short of being memorable. Dessert was also a letdown—the carrot cake did not taste like cake at all and was not enjoyable.
As for drinks, my peach mule was disappointing since it didn’t come in a mule cup, which took away from the experience. The pecan old fashioned was overly sweet, with far too much syrup.
Overall, there’s potential here, but some refinements to the menu, drinks, and seating layout would make a big difference. Exceptional service from Zack was the true standout of the night.
