As the saying goes, we may forget what a person has done, but we never forget how they made us feel. If McAlister’s goal is to create a family-like and welcoming atmosphere, please know it was absolutely achieved through these two.

Max Wolford The bartender was friendly and attentive. The table I played was great. They could absolutely 1,000 please for the love of everything holy play a better set of music when no one is paying for touch tunes.

Nicolas Lara We came here for our first visit on June 30, 2024 and the food and service were both great! I just love how the chicken gets covered in lots of sauce and sometimes you can use the excess sauce for the fries. My family and I will definitely return whenever we get the chance and we hope more Huey Magoos locations will open in more towns.

Dana Lopez Honestly I didn’t know what to expect after hearing mix reviews from coworkers over the last 8 months. HOWEVER!!! This place is awesome, the atmosphere and energy is kinetic. The employees truly seem to love working together. The man who I thought to be the host, then maybe the bartender, on what seem to be a really busy day had the most welcoming and calming demeanor, I shortly realized after now bringing my to go order table side that he was apart of the management team. Food was delicious, I literally asked for seconds. GREAT JOB First Watch you have a new fan!

M Murdock This was my first time in today. Rode by plenty of times, but DEFINITELY glad I stopped in! Portions were worth the money and they were checking on the customers in the waiting room and providing updates! 10/10 on flavor and appreciate the acknowledgment while waiting.

Jessica S We get the seasame chicken and the sweet and sour chicken all the time. It is really deliscious and consistent. And even if they are busy customer service is always pleasant and efficient. We did find this gelatin in our sesame chicken this time, which is the reason for the mark down this time. The food was still good though.

Sharon Holwick We are passing through and staying at a local hotel tonight on our way to the Keys, and we decided to have dinner here tonight. We have our dog with us and the outside, dog friendly seating was a huge draw. We have never eaten at any of the locations in the chain. We had a fantastic experience! Food was excellent. Service was fantastic. The dog friendly environment coupled with the dog menu (!!!!!) was exactly what we didn’t realize we needed tonight but we absolutely loved! I’m not sure if we will ever travel through hinesville again, but if we do, we will definitely visit this restaurant! And if we see any in any places we visit, we will 100% check it out!

Bobbie Huston My boyfriend an I went there on Saturday 08/28/21. This was our first time. Walked inside and the owners were extremely nice. I explained to the woman that this was my 1st time ever eating here and I am from liberty county and passed this place for years. She said they have been there 40yrs. I ordered the medium tray low country boil and added another pound of snow crab to it. It looked really good. Snow crab wasnt that big but they gave me alot I must say. My boyfriend ordered a fried shrimp dinner w/french fries he was given 20 jumbo shrimp w/ fries for 12.99 I thought was great! He also added 1lb of snow crab to his order. We both ordered 2 of their large garlic butters they were like 3 bucks a piece but were big like a pint I believe. Our total was $108.00. Yes thats alot of money but it was alot of food more than I actually expected. The only thing I would say is that all my shrimp and snow crab were over cooked. Anyone that eats alot of seafood and knows alot about it knows what Im talking about when I say this. Corn was not sweet and the sausage wasnt like what Im use to eating when it comes to low country boil. All in all I would go back just not order that much food again. I rate them a 4 star bc they were so nice and for all the snow crab we got. Wait time was not bad at all either.

Kandra Dee Their soup and spring rolls are amazing. I love that they have plant based options. Other cultures food always has more love poured into it. The spices I love so much vs. American food. They also ask you how spicy you want your food on a scale of 1-10.

Deanna Faircloth I got there at five and they close at six, so I decided to do take out. Fried chicken was seasoned to perfection. I ate the ribs off the bone. My veggies were still hot even after I got back to my destination. This was my first time. This wont be my last! The peach tea was sweetened to PERFECTION!! Errrrrybody cant do that! My only complaint was the boiled okra was spicy. DANG!!!

Angela Everson We stopped in because my husband was craving some Korean food. We were greated by a friendly, sweet couple who made us feel right at home. I ordered the Bibimbab and the guys ordered pork and beef Bulgogi. We also ordered the Mandu (fried dumplings) to share. After a reasonable amount of time, our prepared food was brought to us with dishes of sauces and a variety of pickled veggies and kimchi. Everything was delicious...we didnt leave a single grain of rice! Well definitely be back.
