Ilya Kats Great place to take family and kids skiing with convenient beginner slope access just outside the hotel. The property is a bit rustic, but rooms are very functional and clean, the staff is friendly and responsive, the pool facility is great for kids and adults, pool was warm around 80F. There’s a hot tub and sauna there as well. Equipment rentals are seamless and there’s ski school available for beginners (and private lessons for intermediate or advanced skill sets).

Luis Castillo If you havent been here yet you must try this authentic Mexican restaurant. Every dish will please you. Fast service, always checking to see if you need anything and very friendly.

Bluegrass Palms & Design Didn’t feel like cooking while camping near Forbes Lake, so we stopped here — and I’m glad we did! The food was amazing. We had the meatball and the Philly, both were excellent. The owner was super friendly and helped answer all our questions. We even played a little foosball while waiting for our food. Other menu items looked great too, so we’ll definitely be back. It’s in a cool little town where everyone was really friendly. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area or driving along I-57!

Julia Q Great food and friendly service! We have driven past this place a few times. I never thought much of it as if youre not paying attention you miss it. Well today the family was craving pizza. We stopped here for dine in its a small place but has some tables. Lots of murals of chicago its a homey type place. They had a special today for 50% of pizzas we got their pepperoni and cheese as well as the tito pizzaThey came out fast and were loaded with toppings. The onions and peppers were fresh and cooked but still crunchy. With crispy crust that didnt flopped over when you went to eat it. We got wings theyre big wings! We also got appetizers mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers no complaints and no grease oily taste. Also tried the Alfredo pasta with chicken well seasoned and creamy. The tiramisu for dessert a perfect light ending. Definitely recommend

ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ. 4 corners Smokehouse just opened up a while back not too far from our house, and we finally got a chance to stop in and try it out! They were out of the cheese curds, so we got the fried pickles instead. They were just a tad spicy but served with ranch they were pretty good. My husband and I both got the pulled pork sandwiches and they were really good and fresh and the barbecue was on point. The temperature of the meat was actually cold but Im not trying to give them a bad review because it still tasted great. The baked beans were actually my favorite. They were hot! I love the little pieces of meat in it, and Im assuming that theres barbecue sauce in them too, so good! We got to listen to some nice bluesy jazz music while we ate and we saw probably about 15 people or so come in while we were eating. It wasnt too busy but it was nice to see a good rotation of people coming in to get lunch. The decorations around the restaurant were really nice and the signs were funny to read. We are definitely looking forward to going back and trying out something new again, and hopefully, the curds will be in next time!
