What Clients Are Saying Altiro Latin Fusion- On Third (GG)
4 /5 Taylor Johnston: We had lunch on a non busy day. Service was good. The shrimp fundido tacos were presented very nicely, but not so much a taco. The chips and salsa trio were fine (wish it came with more chips, and the “extremely spicy” salsa was more of a medium”). And the poblano soup is a must try-absolutely delicious. I’m indifferent about the atmosphere; it’s not really very comfortable. Interior cute, seating meh. The menu looks great and I would come back to try other plates.
5 /5 Thomas Ritchie: The food here deserves six or seven stars. The shrimp bacon tacos were some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. Both cocktails I tasted were amazing (and I’m a cocktail snob). The poblano soup was life-changing.
The atmosphere was fine, and the server was friendly and helpful.
5 /5 Mitchell Manz: Came to try the brunch. Everything was great. Will definitely be back. Also love the new location. We’ve been several time for dinner. Don’t sleep on this place!!
5 /5 James Edgelake: I love this place. The food is very good and an interesting slightly upscale fusion of Latin cuisine. The Alambre is a personal fave, crock pot of steak cheese chorizo & red peppers with homemade tortillas. So good. The quac trio and salsa trio is very tasty with fresh made chips. That Smokey salsa is really special. The eliotito street corn is to die for. Finally the cocktail called La Pina a pineapple based margarita is the finest cocktail I know! It helps to let it sit for 5-10 minutes before drinking as the special ice cube melting inside changes the flavor for the better. Brian is an excellent host. Nice quiet ambiance and always a satisfying experience
Dave Lawrence Fantastic breakfast menu. Family met here for Saturday morning breakfast/brunch. Food was delicious and the breakfast menu provided a great selection. Service was very prompt and professional. Great meal for a very reasonable price. Recommend this restaurant
diana travers I have always been a fan of the Mushroom n Swiss burger! At a decent price also, compared to other prices around town! Oh, and the onion rings are the best Ive ever had! Add a good ole fashion thick strawberry shake and what a delicious meal that makes! Note-they have huge straws, to get every drop, lol!
Julia Q Great food and friendly service! We have driven past this place a few times. I never thought much of it as if youre not paying attention you miss it. Well today the family was craving pizza. We stopped here for dine in its a small place but has some tables. Lots of murals of chicago its a homey type place. They had a special today for 50% of pizzas we got their pepperoni and cheese as well as the tito pizzaThey came out fast and were loaded with toppings. The onions and peppers were fresh and cooked but still crunchy. With crispy crust that didnt flopped over when you went to eat it. We got wings theyre big wings! We also got appetizers mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers no complaints and no grease oily taste. Also tried the Alfredo pasta with chicken well seasoned and creamy. The tiramisu for dessert a perfect light ending. Definitely recommend
Bluegrass Palms & Design Didn’t feel like cooking while camping near Forbes Lake, so we stopped here — and I’m glad we did! The food was amazing. We had the meatball and the Philly, both were excellent. The owner was super friendly and helped answer all our questions. We even played a little foosball while waiting for our food. Other menu items looked great too, so we’ll definitely be back. It’s in a cool little town where everyone was really friendly. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area or driving along I-57!
