Amigos - (Near Freeport, IL)

Joe L Best fried catfish I have ever eaten. Best cheese curds you can get outside of Wisconsin or Minnesota. Their steaks and hamburgers are also great. I would actually eat there much more often than I do because of the great food, reasonable prices, friendly service and how close it is to my house, but it is cash only. No credit or debit cards, and I rarely carry cash, though they do have a bank machine if you want to pay $3 to get cash. I understand the reason behind some places being cash only, but like I said it is inconvenient for someone like me who hardly ever has cash on hand, so I have to plan to go there when I go to my bank (16 miles away) and remember to get cash.

Adam Wengert My Dad is a proud regular here. As a well-travelled adult I was skeptical about the "best burger ever" claims but I have to give credit where its due, Bridgets has a great burger. Nice glimpse of Americana and a working ag town too.

Jennifer Barrett I ordered crab rangoon and beef & broccoli for carry out. I ordered online and it was very easy. The food was ready in 10 min. and it was very hot! Very friendly woman at the counter greeted me immediately. The crab rangoon was awesome!! Each piece was crispy and had lots of filling. The best I have had in a long time. The beef & broccoli was equally as good. The beef was tender and sliced thin with lots of fresh, crisp broccoli. The only thing I couldve asked for was a tad more sauce. I will definitely be back again. Thank you China King!

Christan Manning Cafe 82:3 is moving! They have a spot inside WGH by the cafeteria and are opening a new spot in the old WADI office (grey building on 9th) with a DRIVE THRU! Jason Laws and family are cooking inside the cafe now and have amazing chicken salad, burgers, pork chops, and plenty of sides. Great place for lunch, especially if youre a student!

Briana McDade The best restaurant breakfast I have ever had! The food was all high quality and “real” unlike some breakfast places. The portions were also HUGE! I ate the Paxton Skillet and the kiddos had pancakes with eggs, bacon and sausage! Definitely worth the drive! The place was also very clean and well kept for a small place! The waitresses were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Amanda Herrin Dollie is who was at the drive thru window she was very friendly. Was told they were making new fires so there would be a wait. I waited less then a minute and all my food was hot an fresh!
