Kathy Rousseau Its an awesome and most interesting bar and grill tucked away on a country road by Grand Tower, IL. Quaint little red building with peaceful outdoor seating, dog friendly with delicious food that is home cooked (real food), and a very friendly and informative staff. Must visit if youre in the area. You definitely wont be disappointed! So take a day trip to a slower laid-back destination and enjoy some awesome home cookin!

Larry Lawson Sarah is a great waitress. The food is great! The prices are about as reasonable as they can be in these times. Better than Princeton prices. Better quality than the fast food places.

Sandpit Sales The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The portion sizes were also large. They are currently under construction but it looks like the outdoor patio and seating area are going to be awesome when its completed. Some of the best food that Ive had in the area.

Drew Heath Stopped in during a long ride and boy was that ever a great decision. Wonderful hospitality, delicious food, and prices that are honestly probably too low! The Oarhouse is a treasure. I hope theyre successful, because I want to keep coming back! (I had the Dredge!) Please note that as of 2019-08 it is cash/cheque only!

Kevin Turner Pie for breakfast? Its Monday... I needed a reason to continue with the week... lol I have been meaning to get to Debbies, and today turned out to be the day. I enjoyed the breakfast special with two eggs, cottage fries, and bacon..with a side of toast (ham and sausage were also available). I gotta credit waitress Mary for suggesting the bacon and cottage fries! She was also a lot of fun. The regulars like Martin (pictured).really seemed to enjoy her wit! Same for Lauren who helped keep my cup of Farmers Bros Coffee full and also recommended the cherry pie ! Finally, I promised the girls that I would say that they were both as sweet as that cherry pie they were serving... . Ill confirm when I return again soon. Lol. Cheers ladies! P (K) A very lovely Japanese bakery in town. They have quite a selection of baked pastries. The atmosphere is very cute. They also have very nice options for drinks. All their baked goods are very cute. Especially, the matcha brownies, they are very good. The staff are also friendly. A cool place!!!
