Avantis Italian Restaurant - Pekin - (Near Pekin, IL)

3 /5 PerKat: Womens restroom was filthy, dried urine on 2 of the 3 toilets. All 4 chairs out our table were so wobbly we were afraid to move from fear we would end up on floor. Server was friendly enough but never offered refill on drinks, had to ask for them. Food was good, but the brea they give with meal has changes and wasnt as good as it used to be.

1 /5 Brett Miller: Just left dine in at the pekin location tried several entree’s the lasagna, spaghetti, Alfredo, pizza, pasta primavera, and fried chicken. What to say….. For starters it should be a hate crime for them to put Italian anywhere in their name. Nothing had any seasoning on it was the most bland underwhelming food I’ve possibly ever had. All the sauces could easily be out done by a jar off of any store shelf. A frozen stouffers lasagna cooked in the microwave would have beaten that. It was my first and only time putting myself through that. Side note the waitress’s and other staff we interacted with were wonderful super nice and very quick and attentive they deserve to be serving better food.

3 /5 Sharon Bainter: First time I have to complain about Avantis. I’ve been going for years and have loved the garden salad and especially the bread. Was surprised when the waitress kind of threw the basket of bread on the table..that is 4 slices. Later when I asked for more I was informed it would “cost me”….never had that happened before then. She said that changed last August can’t prove it but I’m sure I had been there after then. Way to cut prices and customers

1 /5 Katie G: Ordered online for delivery at pekin location. We usually get the gondolas and it’s a fine experience, but this was bad. The delivery was on time, but the food was pretty terrible to be honest. The Chicken Parmesan wasn’t even like just a chicken patty on pasta, was more like a frozen chicken meal heated up type of chicken texture.

1 /5 Monica Velasquez: Ordered the lasagna as I normally do at the Peoria Location. Tasted different but chucked it up to being at a different location well I should have definitely switched what I had right there because 4 hours later Ive had a stomach ache since leaving and now throwing up, now by no means do I have a weak stomach I have a countless amount of people who joke I have a stomach of steel cause I can eat some pretty crazy things but some how this restaurant visit has sent me into a horrible game of am I going to make it in time.... Wish I could say I ate something or somewhere else in the day but that is all I had eaten the whole day and probably all I will eat for the next few days... please do better.
